Mike Huckabee Trashes Beyonce Knowles, Jay Z In New Book

Former presidential contender Mike Huckabee says in his new book that Jay Z is basically Beyonce's pimp. According to Vanity Fair, Huckabee recently resigned his gig at Fox News show to promote his forthcoming book and explore a potential 2016 run for the White House.
Huckabee's book "God, Guns, Grits, and Gravy," comes out Jan. 20. U.S. News got hold of an early copy, and teased a few excerpts.
Huckabee targets celebrity culture and Jay Z and Beyonce in particular. He wrote of their performance if "Drunk in Love" at the 2013 Grammys: "My reaction: Why? Beyonce is incredibly talented -- gifted, in fact. She has an exceptional set of pipes and can actually sing. She is a terrific dancer -- without the explicit moves best left for the privacy of her bedroom. Jay Z is a very shrewd businessman, but I wonder: Does it occur to him that he is arguably crossing the line from husband to pimp by exploiting his wife as a sex object?"
Of course, in the grand tradition of politicians trying to play to the a traditional base of voters, Huckabee didn't really do his research, considering "Drunk in Love" is a Beyonce song, on a Beyonce record, during which her husband is second, third or fifth fiddle. Maybe she's the pimp here. Among other fun nuggets, according to Vanity Fair, Huckabee also compares being screened by the T.S.A. to prison rape, in a chapter entitled, "Bend Over and Take It Like a Prisoner!"
