Video shows aggressive arrest by MPD in downtown Milwaukee

Source: TMJ4

MILWAUKEE- Video shot last night on one of Milwaukee's busiest streets is filled with violent images of an arrest by Milwaukee police.

The video is nearly two minutes long -- and it's filled with jarring images and foul language -- all on Water Street.

TODAY'S TMJ4 spent the morning talking to witnesses who saw exactly what happened. They already had their phones out taking pictures of the Lamborghini as it drove away and couldn't believe what they saw next.

The man who shot the video didn't want to be identified, but said the driver forgot to put his lights on, so police tried to pull him over and that's when the trouble started.

2. .19 not 1.9

That's still twice the legal limit.

5. Gotta love the media appologists.

An elbow to the head while laying on concrete is exceedingly life threatening.

More out of control cops.

6. But, but, they didn't(!) hit him...they "delivered focused strikes to gain compliance"

Oh my.

7. "focused strikes"? Is this from the police handbook?

By hiding the assault behind Orwellian terms suggests that this kind of assault is systematic in Milwaukee, not a few rogue cops.

8. I agree. The facility of euphemisms close at hand

is at least a sign of preplanning for spin control of such events.

Such phrases aren't kept close to mind if they are unneeded.
