Allen West: I've 'Heard' 80 House Democrats Are Communist Party Members
Source: HuffPo
WASHINGTON -- As many as 80 House Democrats are communists, according to Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.). West warned constituents at a Tuesday town hall event that he's "heard" that dozens of his Democratic colleagues in the House are members of the Communist Party, the Palm Beach Post reported. West wouldn't elaborate beyond that, however, and didn't offer up any names. There are currently 190 House Democrats. A request for comment from West's spokeswoman was not immediately returned. Of course you know--and if you were a "good American", you would out them for being the scourge of the country your party is still trying to make them.
So go on... we're waiting. Name ONE. I fucking dare you. Oh, and the reason why the President is not going to debate you? You are not running for the office of Presidency. That is the only person a standing President debates. You and that ignorant ass spalin barking your demands for a debate with a standing president--you both are delusional as to your own puffed up sense of self-importance. for someone who is going to lose when it's his turn to run for re-election, you'd think he'd stfu and do something constructive to bring prosperity and jobs to south florida instead of shooting off his mouth. The military obviously does not teach much discipline. |

|
What an idiot ... we should be so lucky as to have 80 communists in this country - most were deported decades ago. And that is part of the reason the capitalism has spiraled out of control. Labor had a lot more power to influence elections back in the 1920s-40s. That threat made programs like the New Deal possible. Contrast that to today.

Title: The Republican Party going to the right House Year: 1860 Creator: Currier & Ives Description: Abraham Lincoln's supporters are portrayed as radicals and eccentrics of various stripes. The satire is loosely based on an anti-Fremont cartoon from the previous presidential race, "The Great Republican Reform Party" (no. 1856-22), also issued by Nathaniel Currier. Here Lincoln, sitting astride a wooden rail borne by Horace Greeley, leads his followers toward a lunatic asylum. Greeley instructs him, "Hold on to me Abe, and we'll go in here by the unanimous consent of the people." Lincoln exhorts his followers, "Now my friends I'm almost in, and the millennium is going to begin, so ask what you will and it shall be granted." At the head of the group is a bearded man, arm-in-arm with a woman and a Mormon. He claims to "represent the free love element, and expect to have free license to carry out its principles." The woman looks at Lincoln, saying "Oh! what a beautiful man he is, I feel a passionate attraction' every time I see his lovely face." The Mormon adds, "I want religion abolished and the book of Mormon made the standard of morality." They are followed by a dandified free black, who announces, "De white man hab no rights dat cullud pussons am bound to spect' I want dat understood." Behind him an aging suffragette says, "I want womans rights enforced, and man reduced in subjection to her authority." Next a ragged socialist or Fourierist, holding a liquor bottle, asserts, "I want everybody to have a share of everybody elses property." At the end of the group are three hooligans, one demanding "a hotel established by government, where people that aint inclined to work, can board free of expense, and be found in rum and tobacco." The second, a thief, wants "the right to examine every other citizen's pockets without interruption by Policemen." The last, an Irish street tough, says, "I want all the stations houses burned up, and the M.P.s killed, so that the bohoys can run with the machine and have a muss when they please." Reminder: in 1860, the Republicans were the 'radical left' party -- JHB |

any real communist, what we called communism was more akin to fascism than actual communism, same thing with socialism. There has never been a true communist or socialist gov't - same goes for democracy- the last true democracy was in Greece sometime before the fifth century- what most countries have that is 'called' democracy actually is not a true democracy.

No, not really. But your garden variety wing-nut desperately needs to believe that there are. It helps put them in a nice fuzzy-wuzzy 1950's frame of mind! Right about now it's "bedcheck" time. One can't be too safe -- they like to lurk under decent folks beds y'know! |

It could be funny - if not for the last time when the ghost of a "communist conspiration" against the US, let to ten of thousands innocents be accused, and even lost their livelihood because of a false accusation against been member of a communist party.. Even when it was never true... Even famous people, like Charlin Chaplin was accused of that. And in fact he had to leave the country, and he ended up in Switzerland as one of the more famous victims of the cold war paranoia... So be beware for what could happened, if that shit start live on its own... Diclotican |

47. According to people who believe in 'cosmic cycles' we will undergo all they did in the 1930's again.
|
Not a scenario any generation wants to relive again.
The right certainly wants to give it 'a life of its own' as it's worked so well before. About a third of the people in this country have minds that simply quit functioning at the word 'socialism' or 'communism,' the imprint of infamous examples are all they hear, not the theories. People losing their jobs and homes, the rich making out like bandits, just as they did before back in 1929, because the regulations FDR put in place have been eviscerated. They've been screaming 'economic crash and we must return to the gold standard,' because they desperately want a collapse. Our world is owned by the people who profited from that crash, because it was not a failure for their way of doing business. Many people only think of the suffering of the many from the Great Depression, but great fortunes were made by the 1% as have been made since the 1980's. Reining them in is like Hercules cleaning the Augean stables, nasty, requiring guile and thankless. The Bush family is as involved as they were then, and on the side of the authoritarians and war profiteers, just as they were then. Fox News and hate radio are Orwellian in their use of psychology. Demagogues are being elected state after state, and running for POTUS. Nazis are patrolling in Florida and other states and we have outbreaks of violence from the right. Adding in the attacks on the poor and disabled, and all the other '14 Signs of Fascism,' and yes, I can see it 'happening here.' We're walking a fine line, and we may not win. We're in for a radical transformation of the world, hopefully for the better. IMHO. |

I don't know about cosmic cycles, but I do know what could happened, with the ones who doesn't learn from history. And stay vigilant when the same thing happened again.... And to be honest, most americans have no clue what could become them, if anything like the nazis ts was to ever rise their ugly head in the US... It was BAD in Europe under the nazi rule in Germany - and the occupation of most of Europe.. Until Pearl Harbor in 1941, President FDR had to go a thin like between been able to help UK and Churchill, and appease the many who wanted US to stay out of "an europe ran war we doesn't have any business going into".. And FDR had to play the game of being natural - but helping UK as best as he was able to do.... And to be honest, if it was not for the fact that Japan attacked Hawaii, I am afraid that UK, and most of EUROPE would have been under the sway of Hitler for a long time... UK was by November/December 1941 on the verge of suing for peace... The attack by Japan, and the answer from Germany and Hitler, why gave US the war (the speech was by experts on the issue properly the best oratorical speech Hitler ever was able to give the german people ever) Was one big vitamin pill for the UK, and for most of the occupied Europeans... When US got into the war, it was clearly Hitler was not able to win the war.... The great depressions in the 1930s was a horrible time, where many found them selfs in need of something to blame for their own misfortunes.. Many claimed it to be the jews - others claimed it to be other groups... In germany, as in Italy and in many other nations in Europe, it ended in fascism in one way or another... In US it thankfully doesn't ended in fascism, even tho it was a short wile, after FDR was elected president in 1933, that many US officers up to the rank of generals, wanted to make a coupe against the legal president - to give the US a more fascism like ideology... Thankfully to some decent, hardworking american officers, who decided to be on the right side of history, this coup never happened. Even tho the whole case was under the rug for more than 60 year after the facts... I think Roosevelt possible was afraid of what else could happened, if he wanted to make a stand against it, early in the 1930s.. Event ho he in the 1940 did more than anyone else in the US, to fight against the fascism in Europe or elsewhere.. But in the 1930s, Roosevelt had enough on his plate to repair, and the whole affair with the officers who wanted to make coup against the president never got the attention it should have been given.... You are also right in that some get a lot of money, on the back of the money, even under the deep depression.. Even tho many was hurt by the depression, some always came up on the top, even before world war two, who really got the train going - long after the war... But the fact is, that US, doesn't have any Franklin D. Roosevelt in office now.. Your current president Obama, for all his virtues is just one man against a big ugly machine that doesn't want anything less than to squish him to small pieces if they could do it.. The Neo-liberal ideology who since Reagan have been given foot and hand in the US governance is the biggest treat to the same Democracy they claim to fight for... What they want, is a country ruled by the rich, for the rich and dam the rest.. After more or less managed to destroy the trade unions in the 1970s and 1980s, and castrate everyone who is against the ideology of the neo-liberalistic ideology I am not sure what to do, to win that war... But I do believe, that neo-liberal ideology is a danger to the world - as nazism was it before .. The attack against disabled and poor is nothing new in the world.. It looks like disability is something that "healthy ones" can mock about, even when they might one day find them self in the same boat so to say. I am on disability myself - and I have found that even in my own country (who most americans I have known here on DU looks to as more or less heaven The Bush family, specially the old Prescott Bush himself is a history of treason.. If it was one way of justice in the world, Prescott Bush should have been arrested, convicted, and put in a prison cell for the rest of his natural life for the treason against US.. Not just because he was bankrolling the nazi st who wanted to trow out Roosevelt in the 1930s.. But also for the fact, that he was doing business with the Nazi-Regime long after war was declared upon US in 1941... The specially of hate radio is another specially for the extreme right in the US i would presume... Most of them would never been able, or given permission to even talk on most european channels, as most european nations still have a "fairness doctrine" intact in the airwaves.. I have had the misfortune of hearing some of the hate-radio by internet looking for some radios from US.. And i am pretty scared about the tone against minorities and everyone else who might be attacked that day.... That type of media would never be allowed on this side of the pond... We had that in the 1930s, when Dr Gobbles was making a scene for it all... Most of Europe, learned the hard way, what could happend if "hate" radio ever make it to the public again... What we all need, is the americans to wake up and smell the shit as it is.. And then work against it to make US what it once was - a prosperius, rich country who the rest of the world was admiring and wanted to be like... The symbols of US, like the Coca-Cola and Mickey Mouse was one of the first symbols to really make it big in eastern Europe, after the wall was going down... That symbols could again mean something for most of us... As it once did (even tho Cola is maybe not the most healty ideal to live by Sometimes I miss the time when I admired US for all its virtues, and for all the god things she did for the world.. The last decade of so, have been a great disapointed for me.... US is not what I once belived it to be... Diclotican |

Now certainly, I don't believe that Rep. Allen West raped and murdered a girl in 1990, but the fact that I've heard dozens say that Rep. Allen West raped and murdered a girl in 1990 does beg the question of how such a rumor that Rep. Allen West raped and murdered a girl in 1990 would be floating out there. It's quite the accusation that Rep. Allen West raped and murdered a girl in 1990 and it really needs to be substantiated or at the very least, his office needs to forcefully deny that Rep. Allen West raped and murdered a girl in 1990 less it becomes an Internet meme or something...

Weren't Communists referred to once upon a time as the Reds?
Aren't Conservatives supposed to be blue? Then why are Republican states now known as Red States and Democratic states known as Blue States? Wasn't there a phrase once upon a time "Better dead than red"? Mr. West, where's your proof? |

|
It's not against the law to be a member of a political party.
Of course, the Communist Party probably has about 80 members altogether, so is West suggesting that the whole party is in congress? I used to work a block away from Communist Party headquarters on 23rd street in Manhattan. I stopped in there once to check it out, mainly for laughs. It was pretty pathetic. A couple of sad, lonely old commies and some badly written material, and that was about it. Nothing to be afraid of there. West is a nutball... |

|
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/11/barney-frank-allen-west_n_1418537.html WASHINGTON -- Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) on Wednesday tore into Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) for saying that members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus are communists. "Not even Joe McCarthy would have said anything so stupid and dissociated from reality," Frank said in a call with The Huffington Post. "It's an indication of the significant deterioration of the Republican Party as a responsible entity that an ignorant, mean guy like Allen West is considered one of their stars." |

132. Funny, I heard a guy named West was Article 15ed and forced to Retire from the military..
|
...West was charged with violating articles 128 (assault) and 134 (general article) of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. During a hearing held as part of an Article 32 investigation in November 2003, West stated, "I know the method I used was not right, but I wanted to take care of my soldiers." The charges were ultimately referred to an Article 15 proceeding rather than court-martial, at which West was fined $5,000.

143. This is the freak Sarah Palin endorsed for Republican VP
|
http://www.democraticunderground.com/125127471
Sarah Palin says there’s one name at the top of her list if the Republican Party wants to “go rogue” in its pick for the vice presidential nominee: Rep. Allen West. The former vice presidential candidate told Fox News’s Sean Hannity on Tuesday that the Florida Republican would be a great choice for the 2012 ticket. She argued that the eventual presidential nominee shouldn’t “think they have to go with somebody necessarily safe.” “Top of my list is Allen West,” she said. “I love that he has that military experience. He is a public servant willing to serve for the right reasons. He understands the Constitution. He understands our national foreign policy issues that must be addressed. He has served. I really like him. There are so many, Sean, that are out there. And when I talk about going rogue, what I want to do is encourage the GOP nominee to not think that they have to go with somebody necessarily safe that conventional wisdom perhaps would lead somebody to believe that, if it’s somebody, quote-unquote, safe, that they’re not going to get beat up by the media, because no matter who it is.” |

so I feel that I can say this ~ There are so many brilliant members of our race that could be elected/have been elected to political positions ~ and then we have:
Clarence Thomas Mr. 999 Herman Cain and this WEST idiot! All three IMO were hand picked to do the dirty work for the GOP. It has been my view that the GOP may have given CAIN all that Air Time so that Whites that were a bit more liberal would think that they were "reaching out" to our race ~ wrong! CAIN is a finished fool (everyone that I know was ashamed that 999 was AA -- he set our race back at least 50 years. I believe that the GOP was afraid that he was going to get too much support so they "found" the " AA girlfriend" with all the phone calls and they let him sink. I don't hardly believe that the AA community where he lived ( Georgia?) didn't know all about his little lunch dates etc. with that lady --- they knew but many times we will let our politicians and community "leaders" get away with stuff. I wonder if the GOP gave him $999 to vanish and continue his book tour?. Recall that earlier the GOP even let him get away with the charges from the 2/3? White ladies for at least a month and they never opened their mouth about it. That was odd but they didn't care because they had to keep using him at that time, again IMO. CLARENCE has been quoted as saying that his TEA BAGGER wife ( who happens to be White) ~ recall that the GOP has not to my knowledge said a word about him having a White Wife. Funny how that doesn't bother the GOP but Trayvon is not on their radar at all for sympathy . I read a quote somewhere that he said something like , " I believe anything that my Wife believes." Yet, they let Thomas stay on the Bench and they don't say a word. Why -- because they need him like crazy to fight OBAMA and the "Democrat" Party, he is in their pockets! By the way, our community never believed that she did those things.did any from all I've ever heard she is a lovely person. But, even with all that baggage he was holding, they STILL put him on the Supreme Court. Now we have this ALLEN idiot ~ I have never even heard of him. He is nice looking but they must have paid him big money to make that statement. He is a finished fool and I pray that he is FINISHED. Just watch ~ they will continue to use him until they use him up! Hope I didn't offend anyone but this is how I feel about these clowns. |
