Two men have been arrested in the Friday morning shootings that left three dead and two injured in north Tulsa, the Tulsa Police Department announced in a press release early Sunday.

Jake England, 19, and Alvin Watts, 32, were arrested at 1:47 a.m., almost exactly 48 hours after a series of shootings left three people dead and two hospitalized.

More details about the suspects were not immediately available.

Police indicated they would be charged with three counts of murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill.

The victims were identified as Dannaer Fields, 49, Bobby Clark, 54 and William Allen, 31. They died in north Tulsa early Friday after being shot in separate incidents. Two others were shot and have been hospitalized.

The arrests came less than 12 hours after authorities formed a task force called Operation Random Shooter, which consisted of 30 investigators with several local and state agencies working to solve the shooting spree, Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan said during a Saturday afternoon press conference

4. Now hopefully the facts will come to light explaining all this. Justice should be served as the

founders expected it to.

6. Article suggests a rival hatred angle...

Jake England makes several references to the two-year anniversary of his father’s death on his Facebook page, including a post 3:04 p.m. Thursday that says, “Today is two years that my dad has been gone shot by a f------ n----- it's hard not to go off between that and sheran I'm gone in the head.”

5. I read they got a Crimestoppers tip

Congrats to whoever was alert enough to tip the cops off.

That's a huge relief.

10. In this article the man who killed his dad was sentenced to 6 years in prison

His charge was pointing a gun....I think he got a light sentence because the gun laws are more lenient in Oklahoma and that he was the one attacked by the father, Carl England, who went out with his daughter's boyfriend to seek and hurt him.

18. That part of that article caught my eye as well.

In this instance the man who went to jail for killing was actually defending himself.

What a clusterfluck.

19. I wonder how many of his Facebook friends who posted comments

in the past few months will want their names and their own Facebook pages to remain up.

Yeah, Alvin ain't going to be seeing his Facebook page anytime soon, maybe not for the rest of his life.

Do they have the death penalty in OK for killing 3 and injuring 2 others?

40 years in prison, at least, but I doubt OK is very "friendly" to murderers.

9. Glad this was resolved

There are no winners in this case. When I first heard about this I thought it would be an act of revenge for the rape and murder of the 85-year-old Nancy Strait earlier this year.
I do feel bad for all involved, except for Alvin Watts. At his age he might have used his influence to push the 19 year old England to take these actions.

11. WTF?

First of all, young Mr. England is a vicious murderer. His father, moreover, seems to have been justifiably killed while assaulting a man with a weapon, in a classic "stand your ground" case.

As for "revenge" for a rape and murder, what the hell are you talking about? Would you say the same if a black man went around shooting white men in Seattle as revenge for the Green River Killer? Your whole post makes no sense.

From the beginning I thought this might be a case of 'revenge' killings. I was not attempting to justify the murders.

16. The only one I feel bad for is a) the victims and their families and b) the killer's baby sone

Mother apparently died in January, now his father will most likely get the DP or be in jail for life. Going by his FB, the guy's friends had been seeing him lose it over the last week or so. Geez, looks like the day after the killings he wrote "going to work to get my mind off things" and then he had to "lay some tile in the kitchen to keep the cash flowing". Really? You murder 3, injure 2 and going to work will clear your head of all that??

On the second guy: He has been throwing a FB published fit because his baby mama would not let him see his kid. Sound judgement call on her part, I'd say at this point...he then goes on to complain that his guy friend hooked up with his baby mama and that in doing that the friend "crossed the line" and violated "a code".

I felt the need to take a shower after reading their FB's.

Jefferson should have just let England Sr. beat him to death with a stick all the while singing kume by ya!
Well, he can now join his father in hell... murdering scumbag.

Just wondering, when they went out shooting in the pickup truck, did they have the infant baby with them?

23. His (Jake England's) FB has "disappeared" now...

but when it was still there, his sister had posted on it a few days ago...so maybe she has the baby (the mother killed herself in January, so he was a single father)? Unless CPS stepped in to keep the baby until everything can be sorted out on who the baby will go live with. No telling. But, yeah, for being a single parent he sure seemed to have alot of time on his hands...the killing spree, being found by police "out walking to someone else's place" when the 2 were arrested (I bet they were **walking**---wonder where they ditched the white pickup?).
Watts' FB is still there but he was the one who said his baby mama wouldn't let him see their child.
I imagine both of their backstories will come out this week now that they have been arrested. Their FB pages alone were/are creepy.
