Obama to hold forum on women and the economy

Source: Raw Story

US President Barack Obama hosts a forum Friday on women and the economy, as aides warn of a “devastating” impact on the key voting bloc if the Supreme Court overturns his health care law.

The White House said the forum would “examine the ways in which the administration has worked to ensure women’s economic security and create jobs for women, through all stages of life.”

The event is taking place at a time when Obama has pulled out to a big lead according to opinion polls among women voters over his most likely Republican presidential rival, Mitt Romney.

It also comes several days after the president warned the nine justices of the conservative majority Supreme Court not to overturn his landmark health reform law, following three days of combative court arguments last week.

1. Item One: Women don't care about contraception.

That's one item handled.

2. not just to women

I would like to see the president and the Democrats get more savvy with their messaging.
I think that the Republican budget plans should be called "trickle down" economics, and it should be equated to "a return to 2008".

3. Women care about their families and other women's families

And it's becoming clear that Republicans don't. All they care about is their ideology.

GObama!

5. "We promise a new brush in every scrub bucket." - Official Republican Platform for 'the girls'

The Repubbies are fighting back against public awareness of their soul-ugly War on Women. They claim they are, um, "getting on top of Girly Issues and shit like that" with their "OFFICIAL 2012 Republican Platform for the Little Ladies." "These new brushes," the Republicons claim, "should shut them up for a little while."

9. I'm sure the Republicans will be upset...

...and then deny that they've declared a War on Women, even though noted Koch-sucker, Scott Walker (R-WI) just quietly repealed the Equal Pay Law. Let the Repubs keep focusing on vaginas, gay sex, and religion...they should be nicely trounced on election day. The only way the POTUS can lose is if liberals/progressives pout and stay home!
