Dick Cheney released from hospital

Source: Washington Post

Former vice president Dick Cheney was released from Inova Fairfax Hospital on Tuesday, 10 days after receiving a new heart from an unknown donor and making a “remarkable” recovery that his doctor said was much faster “than anyone could have hoped for.”

Cheney, 71, had a transplant operation March 24 after a 20-month waiting period during which he was kept alive with an implanted pump that helped his weakened heart keep beating.

“His recovery was remarkable and completely uneventful,” said Jonathan Reiner, Cheney’s longtime cardiologist at George Washington University Hospital.

“He has been walking, he has climbed stairs and he feels terrific,” he said. “I think his recovery after the surgery far exceeded the most optimistic projections. . . . It is far better than anyone could have hoped for.”

1. 10 days! Holey crap

I think Dr. Barnard's 1st transplant patient never even got out of the hospital. Only lived like a week or something and it was world wide news.

This is almost like going for a new knee or something.

34. I hope they counted the babies in the nursery before letting him leave.

Hospital security guard: "Mr. Cheney, what do you have in that bag?"

Cheney: "Nothing! Just spare organs I might need later."

Security guard: "Is your bag crying?"

Cheney: "No! That's just me. Waaaugh. Waaaugh."

Security guard: "Mr. Cheney, put the bag down. We've told you before, it's against hospital policy to let you steal babies from the nursery."

Cheney: "Gimme that back. Gimme! Gimme! Somebody waterboard this guy! Waaaaaaaaugh!"

13. "The care he received is available to most Americans over the age of 65.” You mean MEDICARE?

So, Cheney, whose party wants to abolish Medicare, is getting HIS before the abolition, right? I wonder what it cost US.

20. "Typical" cost is $658,800. Cheney certainly had higher donor cost fees (!!)

"According to Transplant Living, the average total cost of a single heart transplant in 2007 was $658,800. This figure includes the cost of obtaining a donor heart, at an average of nearly $90,000, about $23,000 in evaluation fees, $40,000 for doctor's fees, $383,000 in hospital costs, $93,000 in post-operative care, and over $29,000 for immunosuppressive prescription medications. Transplants that involved both a heart and a lung cost an average of $874,800, while heart and kidney combination transplants cost an average of $758,700.

36. Have you ever read how the world court works?

If after a while if the country that the perpertrators like the dick and w and gang can't or won't handle war crimes then the court will do something. These things takes a while, in the mean time check out how this all works.

I wonder if he's ever had a moment during his pitched battle with death where he feels his meanness wasn't worth it. Most people have a reality moment when they realize that what they thought was important simply wasn't. I wonder if he's ever thought that his agenda is meaningless in the grand scheme of things. You know, one of those self assessment moments that most people go through when they're fighting for their lives.

Hey Dick, was your evil spirited, nasty, torture loving, genocidal penchant all you thought it could be? Did your life really turn out to be a life worth living? Is your legacy all you wanted it to be?

The spin master of genocide.
The devil has it's heart & is raking it across the coals.
What's left of it's body is now animated.
"See Dick run"
"See Dick think it's has spun & fooled the new generations by hiding behind it's (gay in name only inc.) daughter's skirt"
"See Dick think he's gottem fooled"
"See Dick think everyone's buying it"
"See Dick think he's out foxed GOD"
Time, Time, Time. It must have more time, more TIME.
Hilarious

What if the donor was a magnificent person with a beautiful soul. Could there be a chance of a new spirit in Cheney? Thankful for life and willing to help the poor the needy? Give up his blood-shed riches for cancer children?
