Conservative Poll: Women Think The GOP Is 'Intolerant'

Source: TPM

By CAITLIN MACNEAL Published AUGUST 27, 2014, 6:47 PM EDT

A poll commissioned by two conservative groups found that the Republican party is failing to win over women voters, according to a copy of the report obtained by Politico on Wednesday.

The report found that women think the GOP is "intolerant" and "stuck in the past," and that women are "barely receptive" to Republican policies. Women think Republicans "fail to speak to women in the different circumstances in which they live."

“This lack of understanding and acknowledgment closes many minds to Republican policy solutions,” the report reads, according to Politico.

The report, titled "Republicans and Women Voters: Huge Challenges, Real Opportunities," found that the party does "especially poorly" among women in the Northeast and Midwest.

Because it's what their husbands told them to do, or are they still hoping they'll change when in office. My guy only says those crazy things to get the crazy votes, they're really not going to do those crazy things. Are they????????

That's backwards. It should read Closed-minded Republican party solutions demonstrates a lack of understanding and acknowledgement of modern American women.

And once they *would* have lied their way to controlling the Senate, goodbye everything they said, it was just to get elected a majority.

Now watch that drive.

Same as they ever were.

Voting against equal pay for women? Check.
Voting against raising the minimum wage? Check.
Voting to restrict women's reproductive rights? Check.
Voting to take away government aid for poor children and families? Check.
"Spokesmen" like Rush Limbaugh calling women bimbos and sluts? Check.

And they wonder why there's a problem...

But if they really understood, they'd have to change policies. And, let's face it, fact based policies aren't really in the GOP wheelhouse.

How about ignorant, misogynistic, homophobic, racist, bigoted religious fanatics and fascists who think that by sucking up to the rich, they too will become rich and powerful, or at least, richer and more powerful than they are?

And may I add, poor excuse for humans?

Solutions?

They don't HAVE solutions.

They make up problems that don't exist and claim they're the heroes to fix it.

Meanwhile actual problems of real people are "not the job of government".
