KKK Fundraiser Planned This Weekend ‘Somewhere In Sullivan, MO'

According to the New Empire Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, led by Charles Murray, the Imperial Wizard with headquarters in Abbeville, SC, a fundraiser is being planned for this Saturday and Sunday in Sullivan, MO with an undisclosed location. The group’s web site states “Stop Negro Crime and the Jewish Media Cover-Up” and “Donate to help stop negro crime.”
The flyer states, “With the police state in Ferguson, we will be holding our fundraiser in Sullivan City, MO. Donation of $10 and up. All money will go to the cop who did his job against the negro criminal.” In researching the group and what’s been posted thus far on social media, Leader Charles Murray has indicated that he will be in Missouri on Tues., Aug. 19.
With the issue starting to gain public comment, The City of Sullivan issued the following statement: “Recently the City of Sullivan elected officials and staff were made aware by citizens and various media sources of a scheduled gathering of the Ku Klux Klan to be held in the Sullivan area. City elected officials nor City staff is aware of the specific location for the gathering or have any details regarding the event. Furthermore, City of Sullivan elected officials or City staff cannot confirm if the event being discussed will be held inside or outside the city limits of our community. On behalf of the City of Sullivan elected officials and City staff, I want to emphasize that we have not, or will not, endorse or condone any activity based on hatred, more specifically any activity based on hatred towards any ethnicity,” Thomas D. Leasor, Mayor of the City of Sullivan.

The Independent News is currently working to verify more information and speak with the Imperial Wizard, Charles Murray to discuss the event and what their intentions are going to be. The group has indicated on their web page that they will also be going to Ferguson to help protect “white” business owners. According to Imperial Wizard Charles Murray the event is not a rally, but a fundraiser for the Ferguson Officer. Murray states,”We are not holding a rally. We are having a fundraiser. Members of ours have been selling items online also. All funds are going to Officer Wilson. Not sure where the rally information came from. Apparently, you didn’t do any real research.”

Taking a walk around my suburban Denver neighborhood lake just an hour or so ago, I witnessed a jeep driving around and around with a very large, obviously new (bright colors not faded by our mile high sunshine), Confederate battle flag fly from its rear.

Especially in the present environment this is incredibly hateful and provocative.

I'm pretty jaded politically and increasing cynical -- but seeing this just caused me to think that there is a powered keg of racism, frustration and anger in the nation.

It is sad and scary.

Who is Imperial Wizard Charles “Chuck” Murray?

I am a nobody. I’m just an average person like most people. I was born in 1963 in Boston, MA. That’s right, this KKK leader is a “Yankee”. In 1980, at the age of 17 with my parents’ permission, I joined the US Army. I did a two-year stint and got out. I saw firsthand the hatred of white people while serving my own county. Blacks with lower test scores were promoted through the ranks faster than whites with higher scores.

After being honorably discharged from the Army, I made my home in Memphis, TN out of all places, a city known for out of control blacks. In 1983, I was at a flea market and overheard two men talking about Jews and black on white crime. After introducing myself, I come to find out these two men were members of the KKK. I soon joined. Like most small Klan groups, the group came and went. Throughout the 1980’s I joined several splinter Klan groups which all suffered the same fate.

In 1993, I do believe, I met Ed Novak, one of the founders of the FOK. Novak and others had just split from Thom Robb‘s Knights of the KKK, now known as the Knights Party. I joined and started taking the KKK seriously. I was appointed EC and led a large unit. Sadly, the FOK was destroyed by infighting. I made the mistake of following Ron Edwards, who formed the “Nazi” Klan group known as the IKA.

For whatever reasons, Ron liked me and I was his Grand Dragon of South Carolina from 1997-2001 (my math may be off a little). I liked nothing about the IKA and the direction it was headed. Ron treated people like crap and treated women like second class people. I followed Dale Fox and joined the BOK. The BOK was a great Klan group which was headed in the right direction. Sadly, Fox died in 2006. I stayed loyal to the BOK for a few years but the group was nothing but a fraction of it’s former self.
