House Passes Spending Bill Slashing Funding For Wall Street Oversight

WASHINGTON, July 16 (Reuters) - The Republican-led U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a bill to slash funding for Wall Street oversight and revamp new agencies dedicated to cracking down on fraud against consumers and policing risks after the financial crisis.

The $21.3 billion funding bill, which covers appropriations for the 2015 fiscal year beginning Oct 1 for financial services and other areas of government, passed the House in a 228 to 195 vote along largely partisan lines.

The Democrat-controlled Senate is not expected to approve the bill as it is now.

Earlier this week, the White House said that President Barack Obama "strongly opposes House passage" of the appropriations bill and would veto it if the legislation reached his desk.

House lawmakers have been crafting separate spending bills for various parts of the government, but the Senate has not passed any spending measures.

Please spread the word, I have started to push for a massive, nationwide protest to run from September 13th - November 4th (Election Day) and beyond to get all of the money out of our Election Process by demanding Publicly Funded Federal, State, and Local Elections! No more campaign contributions, Fundraisers, and Super Pacs!

The culpable media will have to run the campaign ads as a public service for their use of the Public Airwaves under license so the cost will be relatively small with a shortened campaign season (a season is four months, that should do it). Lawrence Lessig's Mayday PAC and Cenk's Wolf-PAC.com are welcome to join as is every organization that has watched their issues be blocked by corporate bought politicians!

The money in our elections is the ROOT PROBLEM that is the cause of most of our problems in this country. They own all of the Republicans and many of the Democrats. They own many judges and the media. This is the fight of our generation and now is not time to delay! By timing this during the final months of the midterm campaigns we can point out the politicians who raised the most money and ask them who did they have to blow to get the money, we know who they are going to screw!

Please spread the word to these organizations to join in, organize the cities/towns and show up! There cannot be a more clear sign that our government facade is operated by a shadow government made up of Wall Street bankers, Koch Suckers, CEO's of major international corporations who use the networks as their propaganda tools. They use phony "Think Tanks," the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the American Petroleum Institute... to fund their bribes and spread their lies. The politicians answer to these "Donors" not "We the People!"

Have you had enough yet? Do you need more proof than "Corporations are People," "Money equals Speech" rulings of the Partisan SCOTUS. Their world countries known for corruption look at us and say, "Damn!" We are ROTTEN TO THE CORE!
