Bill Clinton would support a Joe Biden 2016 presidential bid — if he won the nomination

Source: NY Daily News

The former President praised the current vice president during an interview with CNN en Español and said he’d back him if ended up being the Democratic nominee — a prospect polls suggest isn’t likely.

not REALLY Democrats from a policy perspective, but I admit they do call themselves Democrats. I guess that's good enough for some.

13. No, wonders never cease

although I'm not inclined to classify Rupert Murdoch as 'a fellow New Yorker' to anyone. Save your ammunition; you'll need it for that final flailing flagellation next year.

14. Nope, no flagellation.

Just a hard won campaign. That is if she does run. If she doesn't, then it won't matter to me which Democrat gets it.

16. I'm sure he would. I'd support him, too. But I expect Biden will retire.

By Election Day, he'll be not quite 74 years old, and will have spent over 40 years in Washington. It's easy for imagine him saying, "I'm done."

17. Who will he support in 2014 for the mid-terms?

I don't give a fuck who Big Dawg will support in 2016 since it's two years before anybody knows for sure who's running.

I want to see Big Dawg active in the 2014 election, traveling the country from coast to coast campaigning in as many districts as he has energy.

Then, when Democrats have secured a majority in both sides of the US Capital, and state legislatures, and governorships, then we can start thinking about the candidates who will be running for president. Certainly, the latter will not be determined until the midterms have completed. That's just the political reality of the deal. It's why nobody announces until the winter before the election, at the earliest.

Some DUers would have us in a continuous presidential campaign. Disgusting! And divorced from reality.

21. I think you've nailed it, and I'll enthusiastically support whomever is the Dem candidate

Yes, we need to take as many seats as possible in 2014 first, and THEN start worrying about 2016.

As for the presidential election, I'm fairly certain there will be certain issues over which I disagree with the Democratic nominee (as there are certain issues over which I disagree with the President). However, I have no doubt whatsoever that the Democratic nominee will be a hell of a lot closer to my views than whomever the GOPers throw out there.
