1. It was nice of them to so emphatically and unintentionally prove his point in the process...

It's times like these that only a bitterly sardonic chuckle will suffice.

Talk about a credibility gap. How long will TPTB live in denial?

Direct correlation can be traced between prevailing currents of bullshit and the immense benefits that such a narrative brings to its dominant proponents.

7. I don't think the eventual backlash is even recognized as a possible concern..

I suppose the aforementioned believe that the gated communities and country clubs will be impregnable strongholds by the time their dubious web unfurls. Or perhaps some watched that movie Elysium in a totally different light than I did?

15. An armed overthrow of a tyrannical government sounds so romantic.

Citizens armed with their pitchforks and AR-15s wondering where they are going to get their TV dinners when Walmart shuts down food distribution.

and there's a whole lot of desperation in the pipeline...all it takes is one minor catastrophe, and Bob's your uncle.

6. Edward Snowden...

it just proves that the media is a propaganda machine.
IMO, Mr. Snowden has secured his place in history and although TPTB want him silenced and "we" have done nothing to stop the NSA, he will be recognized as a beacon that was extinguished by TPTB and a lost chance to change American morals.
A sad footnote for a man who is a hero.

Uncle Sam wants to know!

Edit to add...our "fourth branch of government" the "Free" press is as useless and compromised as the US house of representatives and the SCOTUS. In government we can't trust or verify.

Comrade Snowden is a traitor...period. For now, he's a puppet for Russia and after them, who knows who is next.

I can't stand ABC but this was OK.

21. And how do you feel about the illegal behavior he exposed?

Without question, the NSA has been engaged in criminal conduct. Snowden provided the proof of this.

You obviously already have strong opinions about Snowden so I won't argue with you on whether or not he should be called a whistleblower. But how do you feel about the illegal actions he exposed? Does the manner in which we learned about them affect the legality of the actions? Should there be prosecutions?
