Sarah Palin On 2012 Presidential Run: 'It's Not Too Late'
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin rekindled speculation about her 2012 plans Monday, offering a teasing response to a question about whether she or anybody else might still get involved in the presidential race.
"It's not too late for folks to jump in," Palin said during an interview on the Fox Business Network, according to advance excerpts. "Who knows what will happen in the future."
Earlier in the year, Palin appeared to shut the door on her White House aspirations, at least for this election cycle.
"After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for president of the United States," said Palin in a statement on her decision." As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order."

(12,568 posts)So unless she can tap into a campaign war chest or write another book, they're pretty screwed. It's clear who is the breadwinner in the Palin family, and it ain't Todd.

(1,486 posts)time keeping her mouth shut. The repugs plan to draft bush at the convention. They don't want him to have to take questions until the last moment, it might be their only chance. They have to win or face losing of the Supreme Court and the congress. The wars must go on and the rich must have it all. Oil must rule. Palin is just out for the money, she will not be a candidate again but she may have inside information. The plan would have been created by Rove when she was a candidate. Just me making stuff up again.
on edit ... we know rove and bush are willing to steal elections so expect that to happen again

(20,226 posts)First we had Trump and then Bachmann, then Perry then Cain then Gingrich and with all of them for just a brief moment we thought we might have a Republican nominee that would make the November election both fun and easy. But sad as it may be - it looks like were going to have to accept that phony old Mitt Romney will most likely be the nominee whether we like it or not and whether the Republican Party base likes it or not.
