There is a type of theological secularism when it comes to the global warmness in this country. Thats what he was referring to. He was referring to the presidents policies in terms of the radical Islamic policies the president has, Stewart said on Andrea Mitchell Reports.
Mitchell later said on the air that Stewart phoned the show after interview to say she had slipped up and said radical Islamic policies instead of Obamas radical environmental policies.
Stewart quickly corrected herself. (Phony Theology = Islamist, I mean, Environmentalist)

(4,788 posts)is why the heck he used the word "theology"? Aside from the dog whistle of course. He is a politician running for a political office in a country whose main governing document, the Constitution (hey Ricky! - remember the Constitution?) is completely secular in nature. Why drag theology into it? I'm not voting for High Priest of the United States, or Pope of the US, or Main Minister - if I were, then I would want to consider theology. Santorum and his ilk are dangerously out of control and over the top when it comes to shoving their personal religious beliefs down the unwililng throats of others. Bah, humbug.
