Dozens of arrests have been reported, with riot police descending on Brooklyn's East Flatbush neighborhood as New Yorkers came out for a third night of protest over the police killing of 16-year-old Kimani Gray.

The demonstration began at Brooklyn's 67th Precinct in East Flatbush, the part of New York's Brooklyn section where Gray was shot to death by police on Saturday. Witness and police accounts differ on whether Gray was brandishing a weapon before he was killed.

According to autopsy results, Gray was shot seven times – four times in the front of his body, and three times in the back.

Brooklynites were heard shouting "murderers!" at the massive police presence Wednesday as officers prohibited people from even stepping onto the street in one of New York's poorer neighborhoods while police helicopters circled overhead.

by all means, send in the cops. It's the best way to guarantee a violent escalation.

If the crowd ever fights back.

I agree, if you want things to escalate, just send in the clown...um, cops.

I escaped to the relative safety of rural upstate.
imo: The cops up here have an easier job.
But it sucks big time when the ones who are supposed to protect us kill us instead.
Police brutality is way out of line!

and NOT word one from our corporate media.

There was a large protest at the electric company for 3 days last year because the cost of electricity tripled. Not a word about it from the corporate media until it was over.

This is how corporations censor the news.

That 16 year old who was killed pointed a gun at an officer, and these kids are using this as an excuse to loot the neighborhood stores...I would like to see protests against the rampant crime that exists in these communities...

Unless you want to believe the fucking cops, then go ahead and live in your fantasy Leave It To Beaver world, where all cops are your friend.

And with three bullets in his back, I doubt he was carrying anything. Sounds like a throwaway piece that dirty-ass cops frequently use to avoid being exposed for the pricks most of them are.

And don't try and tell me about rampant crime in ''these'' communities. It's obvious you have don't have a fucking clue what you're talking about.

Good-bye and have a nice life.
