5. She sure was a pain in the ass. Clever but misguided.

I never understood why that woman looked like Aunt Bea. Somehow I just could never imagine her as as sexual human being.

14. Fighting agains male dominance was one thing, most of us had done that

all our lives. When women turned against us, we were caught flat footed. But old white men and radical religious groups were only looking for a reason to defeat the amendment. Schlafly happily gave it to them.

13. It's not an idealized version of things, either.

The film acknowledges rifts and factions within the feminist movement, and battles lost as well as those won.

Frankly, it's a reminder of how recent that other nation/world was...and how much more we still have to do.
