DCCC Goes After 27 Republicans Over Sequestration

Source: TPM

PEMA LEVY 11:36 AM EST, THURSDAY FEBRUARY 21, 2013

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is launching an online ad campaign Thursday accusing 27 House Republicans of backing millionaires over the middle class by refusing to take action to stop sequestration.

The web ads, which will be promoted with ad buys online but will not air on TV, urge constituents to call their representative and tell them that "it's time to put the middle class ahead of millionaires." The ads warn about the serious harm that sequestration could cause and claim it is the tea party-faction of Congress that is forcing the cuts to take place.

Watch one of the ads:

The ads will run in the following Republican Congress members districts:

Andy Barr (KY-06)

Dan Benishek (MI-01)

Tom Cotton (AR-04)

Rick Crawford (AR-01)

I want to see McKeon from my red district gone, but they know apathy and idiots can't be beat!

3. Needs to be on the airways, not just online, because the airways are flooded with lies by the RW now

Independents or low-information voters of all parties are only hearing that.

One more thing. The content is good but the music detracts from it. So I don't think this will be as effective as it needs to be.

I hope I'm all wrong.

4. Not at all surprised to find Rodney Davis (IL-13)

This sniveling little shit wormed his way into his 1st term seat, for the district I live in...

He campaigned on the promises he would do these sorts of things.....Came right out,in campaign TV ads and said he WOULD repeal the ACA.....All the "spending problem, taxes bad lies and garbage......Said,staring into the camera and in no uncertain terms, that if elected he would do his damnedest to screw everything up worse......

And he WON!!!.....

I plan to be very active and vocal toward shit-canning this little puke.....

5. My condolences for having to put up with such a beast and kudos for promising to go after him!

I live in a 'blue' state and we have some of the worst of the Teabaggers running loose here. They embarrass us to no end. They're like a form of malignant cancer, destroying everything.

6. It's all fine and good to make your political opponents to squirm

but it's time to serve the people of this county instead of party.

7. His name's Young, but he's an old, racist, greedy fool.No value at all to this country in 2013.You'd

think he'd want to do something good for this country before he kicks the bucket. But no. He's a member of the GOP (grabbers of power, gang of phsychos)

10. Sequestration won't happen.

Just watch.
Like last time a last minute agreement will materialize.
I guess this is what we have to look forward to on every single budget decision.
It's all a big show to try and scare up support.

11. That's my thought too.

There's always this last-minute save, the 11th hour deal and then it's on to the next crisis.
