Republican Sean Bielat, a two-time congressional candidate, has filed papers with the Federal Election Commision to run for the Senate, the Associated Press reported.

BOSTON (AP) — Republican Sean Bielat is the latest candidate to enter Massachusetts’ special Senate election while former U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan is expected to announce soon whether he’s also running on the GOP side.

Bielat has filed papers with the Federal Election Commission to form the Sean Bielat for Senate committee. Bielat has run twice for Congress in the 4th District. He lost in 2010 to former Democratic Rep. Barney Frank and last year to Democratic Rep. Joseph Kennedy III.

Former Plymouth Republican state committee member Christopher Fava said Sullivan was expected to make an announcement as soon as Thursday. Plymouth County Republican Chairman Vince Cogliano said Sullivan has told supporters he’s ‘‘98 percent in.’’

Republicans Norfolk State Rep. Daniel Winslow and Cohasset businessman Gabriel Gomez are running. Democratic U.S. Reps. Edward Markey and Stephen Lynch are also in.

Maybe their denial of science & education will serve us well, since their inability to do math is certainly not helping THEM.

Sean Bielat lost to Barney Frank by 11 points and to Joe Kennedy III by 25.

The man doesn't HAVE a political career. The only reason he's famous is because he ran the most bigoted, hateful, gay-bashing campaign you could possibly run against Barney Frank.
