Univision Staffer Attacks Sen. Marco Rubio On Facebook

Source: Business Insider

"Oh. wow, the loser is going to speak after our President," Artiles wrote on spokesman Alex Burgos' Facebook page at 9:33 p.m. Wednesday. "Anything to get publicity. Ask him to do us a favor and stay home that night."

Sentiments like that reflect the prevailing political feeling among Univision's higher-ups at its Doral headquarters, say Univision insiders. Artiles is executive assistant to Daniel Coronell, Univision's vice president of news.

The network is owned by a major Democratic donor who has accused Rubio and other Republicans of having an "anti-Hispanic" stand on immigration that's "despicable."

In August, someone used Univision's official Facebook account to attack Rubio during the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

Yeah, that's it. It's them "higher-ups" that are spoiling everything. Don't they know it's all about "language" and "presentation?"

8. she has the right to say whatever he wants

but it's still unprofessional

she works for a media company that includes a news organization; contrary to popular belief, such companies should be neutral when it comes to the news and those who make the news

3. Suck it up. That's why they have Fox Latino.

Little Marquito needs to learn how to have a tougher hide if he's going to be running in the big leagues anyways.

4. His immigration policy proposal isn't going to go over well with hispanics,

If it involves a continuation of "dry foot" favored status for Cubans. Non-Cuban Latinos are pretty disgusted with that special treatment.

5. Rubio isn't just a loser for the Hispanic community..

in spite of Time mag pushing him as a "savior". More bullshit is going to "save" the goprick club?

So, I hope she doesn't get fired from Univision for calling out rubio about rubio on Facebook.

Marco Rubioís Idiot Quote of the Day

"Now one of his surrogates, Marco Rubio, has put his own ridiculous twist in defending the Romney individual mandate."

But what a big difference. He supported it on the state level. Which means if you didnít like it in Massachusetts, you could move to another state.

11. It's funny what a complete tin ear...

.. the GOP has on some subjects. Rubio, a Cuban is not beloved by the larger latino community and he is never going to be.

But they act like all latinos are interchangable and will surely scratch their heads in wonderment that every latino doesn't suddenly love them.

Not only that, but some seem to think that if they lighten up on immigration, that latinos will forget the decades of history on the issue. Not going to happen.

and he is married to a Cuban. He tells me that both groups don't care much for Rubio.
