Doesn't justify using a gun in any way, but I wonder if this kid was a victim of bullying? Just speculating here.

The USA is as doomed as ancient Rome. I am glad at my age, I will most likely be dead before it happens, but we have lost our soul.

in the city of Atlanta. I live in the suburbs northwest of Atlanta and we have a very low crime rate. Everyone who lives here feels very secure, plus we have a great police department. I live in a mobile home park and we have a neighborhood watch. Everyone watches for any suspicious person.

In schools where "other" kids, went. The violence level is much lower now, but seems to be somewhat more spread out.

kicked out of school for pointing his finger like a gun. The bus is a nightmare of kids abusing other kids, the ones that finally fight back get kicked off, rarely the offenders.

I am so frustrated with our slowly-evolving/quickly devolving species. We have to go through so much hardship before we EVEN consider changing our ways. Good thing we're on a planet that is tucked away in an obscure location of the Milky Way Galaxy!
