Poll shows Pa. voters want stricter gun-control measures
Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
Should gun-control laws in Pennsylvania be stricter? A poll released this morning of voters in the Keystone State show they overwhelmingly say yes.
The gun-control laws need to be stronger, 57 percent said in the latest Quinnipiac University poll of 1,221 Pennsylvanians who are registered to vote.
Four percent said the laws need to be relaxed and 35 percent favor keeping current state laws.
Nationally, gun-control laws should be stricter, 60 percent of the Pennsylvania voters said. Five percent said they should be less strict and 32 percent favor keeping current laws.

This surprises me, being that PA is a huge hunting/fishing outdoors type state. At least in the "T" area of the state. Just goes to show that the gun crowd (NRA's LaPierre) is getting way too much media time when a gun crazy state is polling like this.

1. Write and call, write and call.
Since December I've been contacting my PA, NRA lovin', rethug Representative weekly. Eventually, he and the others will have to bend, if we just keep the pressure on.

My US Rep is a Republican and he'll be hearing from me for sure. And I'm going to reference this Q- Poll.
On the other hand, 2 of my 3 brothers and a cousin have all recently gone out and purchased these AR -15 type guns. I don't understand it. It's like an addict getting a fix. I own guns myself, but see no need for possessing these military grade killing machines.
