Conservative media watchdogs push back on Obama's Fox News attack (Faux)

Source: Fox News

...Bob Lichter, president of the Center for Media and Public Affairs at George Mason University, said Obama is just using an old Democratic Party tactic of saying, "centrists would go along if those nasty conservatives don't beat them up."

"I don't hear Obama complaining about The New York Times trying to pull him to the left," added Lichter, a communications professor at the Northern Virginia university.

Author and syndicated columnist Ben Shapiro said Obama trying to challenge certain media outlets dates back to the start of his administration.

"He's talking about silencing members of the media he doesn't like," he told Fox News. "He's done that before -- this idea that Fox News is some sort of evil force in the media. He's gone after Rush Limbaugh, talked about starting boycotts. This is what he does. He's a bully."

"What he's saying is the media is not liberal enough. I think he wants people who don't like him to be quiet," said Shapiro, editor-at-large at Breitbart News...

Obama is stretching the truth by insinuating that rational republicans exist in the first place.

4. GMU is pretty well known as a conservative bastion..and a link from Fox "News"...

what do you expect, lol. Those pathetic pieces of shit, like most bullies, can dish it out, but push back on THEIR bullying (and lies, and hate etc) and they go whining and throwing tantrums. If it weren't for the profound damage they do to everything good and decent about America, I'd almost feel sorry for 'em.

9. Not Once

did Romney or Ryan do any interviews outside of Fox News.
Obama would love to have a civilized fact-filled discussion with those who dis-agree with him, but good luck finding anyone on the right that knows any facts other than the BS they hear on Fox or right-wing radio. .

10. He's a bully.

Projection

Projection is a defense mechanism that involves taking our own unacceptable qualities or feelings and ascribing them to other people. For example, if you have a strong dislike for someone, you might instead believe that he or she does not like you. Projection works by allowing the expression of the desire or impulse, but in a way that the ego cannot recognize, therefore reducing anxiety.

12. Honestly, I wish Democrats, from the President downward, would just stop giving these cretins the...

attention they so desperately seek. They love it when a high profile Dem speaks their names, it's good for ratings. I wish we could just have a rightwing talk radio/FNC blackout. Everyone who claims to be a Democrat should take the pledge to completely ignore these loudmouths, and eventually starve that beast.

15. Democrats tried that from the 80's through John Kerry's presidential bid with disastrous results

If you have to drive any distance during the day, and you get tired of listening to music and NPR, it's pretty hard to avoid right wing talk radio. It is not an obscure phenomena and until very recently, they had the major networks and even cable news networks cowed.

You can ignore a bully, but when he keeps jumping between you and people you are trying to talk to, you have to do or at least say something about it or at a minimum, the people you are trying to talk to will think he is speaking for you.

13. Fox News Uses Edited Obama Clip to Attack the President for Media Bias

Fox News responded to Obama’s criticism of their punishing of Republicans with an edited propaganda clip that confirmed the president’s point about their bias.

16. The depth and breadth of social injustice

Ladies and Gentlemen of America, from my view after following the news media especially Fox News and hate radio plus researching a long list of articles, and reading several books simple conclusions can be drawn.

This Republican Party that calls them-selves Conservative is highly influenced by foreign money. Especially through Richard Murdock, and the Wahhabi group of the Arab emirates, a very rich very connected family to the Arab Royal families. The Bin Laden family is a large world class construction company centered in Dubai. For decades the Bin Laden family has done business partnership deals with both Bush and Cheney. Those two should have never been in the politics because of this conflict of interest. The media has to be complicit along with likely key members of the Democratic Party that profited from decades of war.

These two families have modus operandi of political swindling. Making millions, to billions in ancillary money laundering, crimes securities and war profiteering since the time of George Bush’s grandfather Prescott Bush dealing and financing the Nazi’s in world war two.

America there is people struggling with this criminal issue right now. For millions of Americans are connected directly and indirectly to this travesty of social criminal recklessness. To open criminal prosecution of the Bush Cheney administration would devastate thousands or millions of families. Destroy economic portfolios worldwide. The media being the prime target in complicity, cable and radio would definitely loose the confidence of the public. But it already has.

There is no recourse because of the depth and breadth of social injustice, they have to lie cheat, steal and continue to swindle. The huge sad part is that America will never have a golden age of prosperity, happiness, and peace. The Islamic Wahhabi goal is exactly to create sedition, confusion hatred or even civil war in America all offered to you America with the compliments of the Bush and Cheney family. This Wahhabi Islam believes with all sincerity that all American are infidels and should be wiped off the earth. The Wahhabi extremists know the best part is that we can do it to ourselves. That’s why the economy is deadlock.

22. Study Finds Obama Received "Unrelentingly Negative" Media Coverage

Conservative media figures have frequently argued that President Obama has received favorable coverage from a supposedly adoring media, but a new study from Pew finds that "negative assessments of Obama have outweighed positive by a ratio of almost 4-to-1." While some observers (including Media Matters) have in the past questioned the usefulness of similar studies, conservatives have cited past Pew reports to portray the rest of the media as biased.
