Grothman Plagiarized Anti-Kwanzaa Press Release from Ann Coulter Column

On December 26, Ann Coulter wrote an anti-Kwanzaa column, Kwanzaa: Holiday Brought to You by the FBI, that is remarkably similar to the the anti-Kwanzaa press release State Sen. Glenn Grothman sent out two days later.

Coulter starts out by explaining that Kwanzaa is a fraud holiday that was invented by Ron Karenga:

It is a fact that Kwanzaa was invented in 1966 by a black radical FBI stooge, Ron Karenga -- aka Dr. Maulana Karenga -- founder of United Slaves, a violent nationalist rival to the Black Panthers.

...Grothman starts out by explaining that Kwanzaa is a fraud holiday invented by Ron Karenga:

It was invented in 1966 by Ron Karenga, a 1960s radical leader and founder of something called the "US Organization". This group, often referred to as the "United Slaves" is even more radical than the Black Panthers.

histrionics. Everybody knows that it was invented in the 60s. Never in my life have I heard somebody claim that it was some sort of tradition that predated that time.
