Elderly woman threatened after she's falsely linked to pro-shooting tweets
Source: St. Louis Post-Dispatch
ST. CHARLES COUNTY • A 71-year-old woman says she got hundreds of phone calls Monday night after someone posted her number on Twitter and claimed it was the number of someone tweeting as the Newtown, Conn., shooter.
The woman, who has not been identified by authorities, lives in an unincorporated area of the county near O’Fallon, Mo. She told police the calls, which she estimated to number more than 500, started coming in about 5:30 p.m. and continued until 11:30 p.m.
Anonymous, a group authorities say has hacked into various government agencies, claimed at one point to have gotten into @BlastinKids’ account, and it posted the supposed owner’s phone number and an address on Twitter and various websites, police said.
Both pieces of information were inaccurate, but the 71-year-old woman ended up bombarded with calls.

Elderly may have been intended as a kindness but it is judgmental, like 'childish' or 'infantile' or 'prepubescent' or 'homily' would be considered. A writer does not need to quantify the person beyond giving the age, if it is meaningful to even that.
