Court documents reveal new clues in Jacob Roberts final days
PORTLAND, Ore. -- New court documents reveal more details about the final hours of Jacob Roberts life. The 22-year-old opened fire at Clackamas Town Center on Tuesday, Dec. 11, killing two people and injuring another before turning the gun on himself.
According to court records, detectives received a tip the night of the shooting from one of Roberts' roommates saying he thought his roommate may be the shooter.
The roommate told detectives Roberts had been "acting weird and talking about moving to Hawaii and selling his possessions of Craigslist."
The roommate also told detectives he recently found ammunition for an AR-15 in the home they shared, and said Roberts drove away from the house that night wearing black and never returned.
Here's the information that had been missing from reports earlier on how the Clackamas mall shooter got the AR-15 he used in the mall shooting from his friend who noticed it was missing from his house where he'd been sleeping in the night before the killing when he "woke up" at 4 PM... Apparently when Roberts was there, he told this guy "he needed a gun and needed to get to of town."
Damn, I wonder what this guy feels like now after what happened with his gun, even when he in fact was "warned" that his friend "needed a gun" beforehand.
