Mr Berlusconi told reporters in Milan that he was "running to win" - and that his decision came after his People of Freedom party had not found a leader who was as well known as him. Mr Berlusconi said PM Mario Monti's austerity policies had harmed Italy. Mr Berlusconi, 76, resigned in November 2011 over Italy's economic troubles and was convicted of tax fraud in October. 1. Noooo! Not Him Again?

If he is elected again as Prime Minister, this will not speak well of Italy IMO.

2. Berlusconi is like a cockroach infestation, no matter how much you fumigate and how hard you try
|
He is nearly impossible to get rid of for long.
At least this will be entertaining. |

4. One sad idiot with a massive ego.

Italy could do so much better. They need to put that pathetic chapter behind them. While he's off screwing his brains out Europe went into recession and peoples lives have been destroyed.

8. He's a past master at getting verdicts delayed or overturned

10. The sick thing is, Silvio will probably MAKE that comeback.
|
The "center-left" keeps making it easy for him by doing nothing but austerity budgets when they get into power. If they'd actually defy the banks and let the workers make a few gains while they were in, it'd be a different story.
