Obama keeps Holder as Attorney General

Source: New York Post

President Obama is holding on to Eric Holder as the nationís top law-enforcement official, The Post has learned.

The newly re-elected president asked his controversial attorney general to stay for the second term, and Holder has agreed despite enduring a firestorm of criticism from Republican lawmakers.

ďI donít know if everyone in the White House wants him to stay, but the important guy does, and thatís all that matters,Ē said one person briefed on the matter.

Holderís office declined to comment.

and so far, the New York Post is the only outlet carrying the story. The Post and its owner are not friends of the administration. Until I see this news somewhere else, it's suspect.

The terrible trio of the Obama executive branch.

They all need to move on.

It has only been a week since the election ... maybe this is just corporate news media blather.

We should have a truly Democratic, progressive cabinet -- not with these three who could have served in the Bush administration with no problem.

45. Pretty bold 1st post to be claiming Dems are racist for not approving of Eric Holder

Holder let the banksters walk:

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/blogs/taibblog/ag-eric-holder-has-no-balls-20120815

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/08/14/why-goldman-sachs-other-wall-street-titans-are-not-being-prosecuted.html

He let war criminals walk:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/aug/31/obama-justice-department-immunity-bush-cia-torturer

And then under his authority the DEA increased raids by OVER 4 TIMES as many Medical Marijuana Dispensaries as Bush Did in 8 Years:

&feature=youtu.be

So you might want to hold back on the Dem bashing......

Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT and said: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: The poster may well be a troll, but expressing approval of an Obama appointment or reappointment is not a ToS violation. (Fortunately, neither are the many sensible posts criticizing Holder.)
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Maybe a troll or maybe someone who doesn't do a good job expressing himself. I'm not comfortable saying this inappropriate. tavalon
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT and said: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT and said: 1 post and already accusing us Dems as being racist, smells like a RW troll. Methinks this troll needs MIRT'ed.

I think you all are rude with your attacks on Holder calling him lost, etc. Instead of discussing his record, but it is your American right to be rude. 38. Most

of the disagreement seems to be on him enforcing the laws against marijuana? Holder has to do his job because of his oath. The criticism shouldn't be at him but against the people in Congress that made the law. I agree their evidence is flimsy on marijuana. That is where your fight should be. Colorado and Washington took a good step to force the debate in this county.

The problem I have with Holder is he should enforce Civil Rights Laws the same way he enforce Drug Laws and not cower from the Repukes. If it was me, I would have some Repukes in chains by now.
