Republicans lose in minority votes

Obama captured 71 percent of the Hispanic vote, helping him lock down key swing states like Colorado, Nevada and Florida. Less noticed was the 73 percent support Obama drew from Asian-Americans, an emerging force in states such as Virginia, an 11 percent improvement from 2008.

Don't let any prominent Republicans know, but they could have won the election if they had only stopped attacking Hispanics on the immigration issue, if they had not attacked Women in the patronizing paternalistic manner about Contraception abortion and assorted Women's health issues and if they had not stupidly supported changing Old age and medical benefits in such a clumsy manner. There are other issues that fit into this discussion as well which leads me to say. "They could not under their current regime have won the election under any circumstance."
They still have a large and very powerful hate network that will continue to fuel ignorance and bigotry. It is time to break up the media conglomerates.

Take the money out of politics and we will survive. Fail to accomplish that and we will have to revisit this same situation every 2 years, every election.

2. and this comes as a surprise?

of course minorities and women and Gays voted Democratic for the most part, and will most likely continue to do so in the future, the Republican party built itself on fear of change and the power in this country changing hands, being American and what is seen as American is changing and there is nothing they can do to stop that no matter how hard they try
