WASHINGTON, Oct 25 (Reuters) - Top Republican donors Sheldon Adelson and his wife gave another $10 million to the "Super PAC" backing Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in October, saying they hoped to "level the playing field" with Democrats ahead of the Nov. 6 election.

In a campaign year of unprecedented contributions, Adelson and his wife Miriam have stood out above the rest.

The 79-year-old billionaire chairman of Las Vegas Sands Corp , Adelson emerged as the Republican Party's biggest patron in the 2012 campaign, pouring at least $47 million into Republican coffers with his wife.

The Adelsons gave $5 million each to the pro-Romney Super PAC Restore Our Future, accounting for about half of the fund's cash raised from Oct. 1 through 17, according to Federal Election Commission filings released on Thursday. The filings are the last disclosures before the Nov. 6 elections.

Why is Romney even in the race? Because Billionaires like Adelson are simply dumping millions upon millions into the race.

pathetic racist hates Obama because he thinks Obama should not even be allowed to vote, let alone run

in the end, 90% of all opposition is based on that

it's a fact.

The best tonic to him is inauguaration day 2013 when Obama is sworn in for his second term.

The old racist "John Birch Society" type will be finished in just 10 days now.
Never to rise again.

Demographic change is coming, a force of nature they could not stop.

We will get the last laugh.

(BTW-he is mega rich, yet he has that atrocious dye in his hair. It boggles the mind.
He could use a hat and a scarf or something.(A famous writer comes to mind that had alot of style and grace til his demons got the better of him).

If only Adelson used his resources for good instead of evil.
The world could have been all that much better.

What a pathetic individual he is. Being rich did not make him a better human being.
Shame on him.

Too bad he didn't remain in Vegas.
