Talking mailer plays Todd Akin’s ‘legitimate rape’ comment

Brochures that play an audio recording of Missouri Republican Senate candidate Todd Akin’s remarks on “legitimate rape” when opened will begin hitting mailboxes in Missouri today.
The Democratic super PAC American Bridge 21st Century is sending the talking mailers. It’s not the first speaking bit of campaign mail; some Missourians audio attacks in their mailboxes during the Democratic primary between Reps. Russ Carnahan and William Lacy Clay Jr.
The final debate between Akin and Sen. Claire McCaskill (D) is tonight
