12. AMEN.
|
I have a good friend who debated against Elizabeth in high school. He adores her even though he says she used to beat his ass all the time. I am sure the minute this is over I will get a call describing in detail why she won the debate once again.

|
She's on her game. He blew it with both the Nordquist embrace, and his voting record which she knows very well.

23. Not only desperate, but delusional
|
Here are a few things he said:
- He spoke of being the key Senator to find a way to get the funding to not raise student loans. - He spoke of serving in Afghanistan. (I think this may be the time he went too far on this. He spent 1 to 2 weeks - training as a Jag officer who was a Senator. ) - He again described himself as a ranking member of the Armed Services Committee. (There is only one ranking member and he is McCain. Maybe he dreams he is McCain during the hearings.) - He speaks of being a key Senator working on destabilizing Iran's currency - he is not on either the banking or the foreign relations committee which I assume are the relevant committees. (Maybe he dreams he is John Kerry who actually has met with kings, queens and most other leaders.) |

30. He is the ranking member in a SUB committee.
|
He always leaves off the sub while meeting with kings and queens.

32. Exactly - and the Boston Globe noted the subcommittee
|
However, it is still very very wrong to state as he did. I don't know why he gets a pass on that - one that I can't imagine being given to anyone else.
On Afghanistan, Senator Kirk(R, IL) was given a lot of grief for overstating his military credentials. |

18. He wants to desperately proclaim how bipartisan he is, while distancing himself from his own party
|
and pretending he's some kind of independent....well change your party, Scottie, because your lies are stacking up & you are sounding more and more like rMoney, flip flopping in the wind.
The stones he throws at her are just not sticking...he cannot paint her as anything other than the incredible woman she is. She is a PROVEN representative, she has walked her talk & it's been for the people, not the elite, not the wealthy. She shines in her truth! Bravo, EW!!! We need you to fight for us, we need someone who votes for our best interest ALL the time, not just some of the time! K & R! |

- and having a real discussion on issues really helped Warren. Brown's weaknesses show.

Last edited Thu Oct 11, 2012, 09:10 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1) he was "a ranking member of the Arms Services Committee"
He was strongly booed for calling Warren a legal gun for hire... Good Western Mass crowd... She'll get some much needed momentum from tonight! UNFORTUNATELY, the BOSTON media market is not seeing the debate: local broadcast stations skipped it! http://elizabethwarren.com/ ![]() |
