Obama: Romney trying ‘to cloud’ abortion stance

Source: Salon

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says Mitt Romney’s recent remark about not having abortion on his agenda is an attempt “to cloud” his rival’s position on the issue. Obama says he had a “bad night” in last week’s debate with Romney but says the fundamentals of the election did not change.

Obama offered his critique of Romney and his reassurance about the election in an interview with ABC News.

Romney told The Des Moines Register this week that he would not pursue abortion-related legislation if elected president.

Obama says Romney’s answer was an example of Romney, in Obama’s words, “hiding positions he’s been campaigning on for a year and a half.”

The president adds that Romney believes it is appropriate for politicians to inject themselves into women’s health care decisions.

1. The Corporate Media Is Now Pushing The Meme That Romney's Lies and Pandering Are Good!

Romney is directly contradicting himself. However, rather than condemn him for his dishonesty, the corporate media has been celebrating his lies and vagueness as good things! In sharp contrast, when Harry Reid noted that Romney may have failed to pay federal income taxes, the corporate media went ape shit on Reid.

It is an amazing double standard.

2. I support President Obama

but he needs to come up with a better way of saying "Romney is full of shit" than "clouding the issue"

Granted, as President he can't us the "full of shit" line, but there is quite a bit of literary teritory between "full of shit" and "clouding".

I suggest he do some "wordsmithing"

4. Obama needs to stop gently gliding around the real words he needs to use

Romney will say FUCKING ANYTHING, regardless of whether or not it is the truth or even LOGICAL - HE IS A LIAR...... the man is an elitist 1% FUCKING ASSHOLE who has felt ENTITLED his entire life and now he feels ENTITLED TO THE PRESIDENCY and he will SAY and DO ANYTHING to get it. He needs to be SLAMMED for what he is and SLAMMED HARD. He stands for EVERYTHING that is wrong with America. What the FUCK is going on with Obama? He is losing the PR war with a fucking EMPTY SUIT. ENOUGH ALREADY.
