Bizarre Video Shows Scott Brown Joking He Would "Stalk" Pussycat Dolls

Source: Mother Jones

A small record company has launched a video vendetta against Sen. Scott Brown, claiming that the Massachusetts Republican and his daughter Ayla, a singer, backed out of a deal to develop and promote the American Idol semi-finalist's career.

Wayne Laakko, a co-owner of Double Deal Brand Records, says losing Ayla Brown "nearly bankrupted" his company. He says she agreed to make at least two more albums and that the Browns owe the label a "substantial amount of money" for merchandise, production, and public relations work. (Brown's attorney denies the allegations.) Now, Laakko says, he's "disgruntled" and is "having a little fun." On Sunday, Laakko posted a bizarre video to Double Deal's YouTube page in which Brown, egged on by an interviewer, answers a question about whom he might like to "stalk."

"Uh, let's see, who would I stalk?…How about, uh, probably one or all of those pussycat girls," Brown replies, apparently referring to the burlesque troupe-turned-singing group the Pussycat Dolls.

Laakko edited the video—recorded in 2006, and one of six he says he plans to release—to intersperse it with video, music, and images of the Dolls. You can see that version below. Here is the raw footage, which Laakko provided to Mother Jones:

5. It will be easy to say he was just kidding, and he probably was

Beat him on the issues, don't sink to his level...unless you have something REALLY good, which this is not.

11. This is a guy who has slammed Warren repeatedly about her Indian...

....heritage in a racially-charged attack, and calls her "professor" during their debates.

Additionally, it's not the Warren Campaign who is threatening to release this video...let's not confuse the two, okay?

I also beg to differ about this topic....this is a character issue for Brown. Who wants to vote for a candidate who talks about stalking women?

6. He thought Ayla was going to become a major singing star? lol

She was some sort of basketball player, I forget if it was high school or college, and then she got on "American Idol" but in my opinion was just another singer in the endless parade of ordinary singers, but she wanted to win it and then go on to become Miss America or something, then the first female President, in other words a very ambitious high-achiever. And her father supported her in everything... I read that after she got voted off "American Idol" her father bought her a very expensive car to console her. But for a record label to say that losing her nearly bankrupted his company... I find that pretty laughable.

7. The creep here is the record promoter, trying to blackmail a sitting Senator.

Just because we like Warren better doesn't mean we should side with criminals like that.

10. Wait a minute?? Who is the real criminal here?....

...No, that's not the record promoter in the video talking about stalking women. That's the "senator", and he's the REAL creep.

Reads to me like the "senator" backed out of a deal and the record promoter is not very happy. Not sure where you're getting the "blackmail" thing.
