GALLUP: Obama Bouncing Back Already To 5-Point Lead
Source: Business Insider
President Barack Obama moved back to a 5-point lead over Mitt Romney, halting the Republican nominee's post-debate momentum. Obama now leads Romney 50 percent to 45 percent in Gallup's daily tracking poll. Romney had seen a big three-day post-debate move in the Gallup daily tracking poll, but today's results signal that his debate bump is beginning to level off. Earlier on Monday, Gallup released results of three days of post-debate, which showed that Romney had tied up the race with Obama in those three days of interviews. It also found that Romney was the biggest winner in the history of the presidential debates. Obama's approval rating — which has swung wildly in recent weeks — also ticked up to 51 percent, above the "safe" 50-percent threshold for an incumbent's re-election. 5. B b b but, ah, wh, wh what about that awful, horrid, terrible, DEBATE performance???? (READ & LEARN)
|
Don't you get it folks? ENOUGH OF THE HANDWRINGING AND BED-WETTING ABOUT THAT FUCKING DEBATE. The debates DO NOT DETERMINE THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTION. They are but ONE factor. Yes, Obama was tired and played a stand above the fray game that gave him a poor rating on PERFORMANCE, but not necessarily entirely on SUBSTANCE and, if they did a poll on who has had the better RESPONSE AND FOLLOW UP TO THE DEBATE, it is TeamObama HANDS DOWN. They are CLOBBERING the MittTwit on his LIES, FLIPS, AND WAR ON BIGBIRD.
So handwringers and skyfallers, just take a chill pill. TeamObama is in control of this situation, and we get to watch Biden go after Eddie Munster in a few days. |

I would not miss that for my own funeral. Should be a hoot. Biden knows more about the "Ryan budget" that the Liar does himself. I'm really wondering if Liar can stand up to the pressure of the moment.

25. The way these often work is "Did he do well"? -- Yes or No.
|
Then they take all the Democrats who were disappointed in Obama and imply that they will vote for Romney.
It's like when Bush gave a speech after 9/11 and they asked if he did well and since he didn't come out falling down drunk the media trumpeted that he had a 95% approval rating. |

Why does President Obama even need to participate in any more debates? He should say HELL NO! There's a whole circus atmosphere over Mittkins "Wow, fantastic, glorious, perfect, wonderful" supposed debating superiority over the best president the US has ever had.

thousand participants of the poll were done on Sunday. Gallup is a 7 day tracker and Romney polled well for 3 days but Obama must have had a really good day today. Gallup goes to LV model tomorrow so Romney may gain in that poll.

Last edited Tue Oct 9, 2012, 01:56 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1) If we sit idly by and let the Republicans steal another election , we will deserve the horrible wrath that's coming. With the recent debate, the Mainstream Media did for the Republican Party exactly what its been doing for them for over 20 years. That is, resurrect its rotten, dying corpse, back to life. They did it in 2000 & 2004 when they ignored the will of the people and made George Bush president of the United States. They were complicit in every evil deed he committed against this country, and, the people of the Middle East. They cheered him on as he completely obliterated the economy.
When the people finally drove the Republicans out in 2008, the Mainstream Media brought all of the Republican vipers right back into the public square. They allow them to do what they would never allow a Democrat to do to a Republican administration. This of course was to critique every move of the newly elected president. It was Mainstream Media along with the Koch Brother's that created the Tea-party. From August 2010, to a few days before the November midterm 2010 election, the ugly portrayals of Obama, and the boisterous Town Hall meetings were looped endlessly on television. They told you that the Republicans were going to win and you Liberals were going to stay at home. They even brought a few Liberals on to remind you that Obama had disappointed you. Therefore, you should teach him a lesson and not vote. For Progressives to be so smart, they sure do get played by the Republicans. Now look what the Mainstream Media is up to . They felt the need to rescue Romney's dignity from the 47% remark. After all, he is white. So they decided that he was going to be the winner of the debate. Never mind the man was acting like a rude bully. If Obama had exhibited that kind of behavior, they would have called him a thug or a gangster. I'm telling you folks, we'd better let the media know we won't stand for it. |
