Firm hired by Florida GOP knew weeks ago of possibly fraudulent voter registrations By Michael Van Sickler, Times/Herald Tallahassee Bureau In Print: Wednesday, October 3, 2012 Republicans say they didn't hear about the flawed forms until a week later when told about them by a Palm Beach Post reporter. But Cheryl Johnson, Lee County's voter registration director, told the Times/Herald on Tuesday that she noticed some odd applications that came quite a bit earlier, on Aug. 28. It looked like someone had checked Republican in a number of party registration boxes in a manner that didn't match the way the rest of the application was filled out. Four of the forms appeared to have been filled out by the same person. Johnson called the person who dropped them off, a Strategic Allied Consulting employee named Danielle Alvarez. On Sept. 6 — 12 days before they learned about the Palm Beach forms — Johnson met with Alvarez and a man named Jack Reed. "They said they were shocked," Johnson said. "They told me that they fired someone and it wouldn't happen again." Johnson said they took copies of the questionable forms and promised they would call back. But that was the last Johnson heard from them. |
from the courts for the republican voter ID laws that the courts have been throwing out.

6. You best believe it was done on purpose
|
They knew they didn't have a chance...Go back to 2000...variations of the same thing done...when it looked like they would still lose the SCOUTS stepped in....
2004...As I sat in our Headquarters watching the early returns Kerry was leading big time....All of a Sudden...Bush began to gain...I would have swore it looked like Kerrys numbers were going backward..These returns were coming in from Ohio....Actually Ohio Sec of State....began getting a feed from Chattanooga TN due to the Ohio machines being hacked...The man who did this was slated to testfy...But he died right before he was to turn over evidence in a plane crash...story ended with his death... Republicans knew Romney could not win...So the voter fraud idea popped up...ALEC Began writing laws to change who could vote and who could not...In the beginning it seemed no one noticed,,,no one cared...Now days before the election they are going to court it will help but as long as those laws are on the book there is danger... |

3. He gets paid the big bucks for the hot water! He will blame it on some unknown minimum wage

staffer and walk. You have to watch those " good Christians." The damage is done and no telling how many D registrations were trashed. The American people need to reject all Repugs up and down the ticket! We need the House and 60 plus in the Senate to fix the very real problems we face as a nation. Most importantly, we need REAL CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM!!! We could actually have a Representative government again instead of a government for sale. Both parties sell out which means we pay more for prescriptions, gas, and food. The 1% and the special interests need to be treated like the rest of us and not have the laws drafted to benefit them over us. They have been at the class warfare thing a long time as evidenced by how well they do, even in tough times. We need Wall Street reigned in, prosecuted, and protections (regulations) put back into place to prevent another collapse and to protect small investors. We need the media conglomerates broken up and news shows that must present the real news. News should not be classified as entertainment. They should not be allowed to manipulate us with the News!

7. I agree!
|
I agree wholeheartedly with everything you say. We must REJECT all of the republican mantras, and I do mean ALL. In addition, the true decent republicans are all gone, meaning those who once had a thought process left and were open to negotiating. In other words, the only republicans remaining are the extremists, pure and simple, period. Get rid of all of them and start over. Get rid of Boehner, that other old turtle face republican representative from the senate, that weasel, undereyed eric cantor and all of the other repulicans that follow them and are heading straight to hell.

8. Here are some of the ways:
|
1) registering people as Republicans w/out their knowledge artificially swells the size of their party and thus impacts demographics used for polling. Also makes vote stealing easier using "massive Republican turnout" as reason for sudden swing to Romney.
2) discovery of fake registrations bolsters the GOP "voter fraud" claims and sets up the "need" for voter ID laws (they just didn't intend the fakery to be traced back to them!) 3) trashing Democratic registrations.... well, that one is obvious 4) I won't be surprised if they re-registered some dead people as Democrats and plan on sending people to vote in those names. See # 2 for why. |

9. And they can hide all of what's going on amongst "all of those people who don't vote", which
|
may or may not be an inflated number too.

Shouldn't the RNC be held responsible for the crime of voter registration tampering? |
