Conservative media release old video of Obama in failed 'explosive' exclusive

To some conservatives it is "explosive" unseen footage that shows Barack Obama playing the race card, the perfect retaliation to the devastating Mitt Romney 47% video.

But within minutes of the five-year-old video of Obama being released by the Daily Caller website on Tuesday night, the "exclusive" began to unwind amid criticism that much of it had been reported at the time and the content was anything but explosive.

The Democratic national committee described the conservative attack as "lame".

The bigger question is whether the Romney campaign played any part in the release of the footage. Both campaigns can be guilty of dirty tricks operations, passing on material to sympathetic journalists. But Romney officials denied all knowledge and distanced itself from the video, portraying it as thin.

The test will come in the presidential debate on Wednesday night and whether Romney ignores it or uses it as a tit-for-tat with Obama when he raises the 47% video.

Look at how they managed to get Bush to serve a 2nd term and also how they were able to fool the american people about Iraq plus there is the fact they still have alot of americans who support Gitmo and laws like the patriot act.
Along with all of that the republicans have over the years managed to seize majority control over a large number of state elected offices and they retook control of Congress extremely fast when you consider the screwups they made when they last had control.
So no, they arent stupid.
Arrogant? Yes.
Heartless bastards? Yes.
Complete and utter assholes? Yes.
Stupid? I dont think so.

Spend all day jabbering about how he's only president because he's black, then try to wring your hands about him mentioning race. After all, according to the Romney campaign staffer, "we're just not generating enough angry white men."

Like Issa, Ramos has gone to great lengths to tip-toe around the full history of the renegade ATF project because of the links to his real bosses in the Bush Family. Ramos likes to fancy himself as a force in journalism by frequently referring to President Obama as a "liar," when in fact he himself is a fraud posing as a hack reporter.

Any effect they had hoped for will be overshadowed by the debate.

Smart guys would have saved this for right after the debates when it might stick, or Rmoney might need some distraction. (or add insult to injury)

Now it will be blip...and forgotten.
