Romney seeks extended deadline for overseas voters
SCOTT BAUER, Associated Press
Updated 1:27 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2012

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican Mitt Romney's campaign has sent letters to election officials in Wisconsin, Mississippi and Vermont demanding that the deadline for receiving ballots from military and overseas voters be extended.

The letters sent last week and Monday on behalf of the Romney campaign by former U.S. Veterans Affairs Secretary Anthony Principi (prihn-SIHP'-ee) say election officials in each of the states missed the Sept. 22 deadline for mailing some ballots to overseas and military voters.

~snip~

A spokesman for Wisconsin's elections board says 44 ballots were mailed to military and overseas voters within five days after the deadline.

Romney's push is part of a broader effort to court the veterans vote.

I guess when it suits him the military is honorable to be seen by Rmoney.

We can rule out electoral votes for the Caymen Islands as a reason for your money stashed there.

If the Democrats would do that, would the right scream voter fraud, and you had plenty of time to mail these ballots, etc.......

and voting time eliminated. There are a comfortable amount of time for oversea Americans and US Military to get their ballots back but in many of the GOPper run states time constraints have been imposed especially the Democratic areas. Mittens will win Mississippi. O will win WI and Vermont so what is the logic behind this???? I can see WI, with lying Walker, so I can see Walker and his cronies trying to steal WI for Mittens. I wonder how Mittens GAWD feels about lying, cheating, stealing and down right ugliest.

for those 44 voters alone. Give them an extra 6 days. Of course, by then, Obama will be President again.

The military vote isn't going to swing the election. He should support this as part of a broader effort to protect EVERYONE's right to vote.
