Mitt Romney's Wealthy Donors May Be Fleeing Campaign: Report
Source: Fox Business/Huffington Post
Mitt Romney's campaign may be suffering in more than just the battleground states. Fox Business' Charlie Gasparino reports that some wealthy donors who have made financial commitments to the Romney campaign are reneging, and instead, opting to send their money to Republican House and Senate candidates who they see as having a better chance of winning next month. Citing two sources, including "a major player in Romney’s New York fundraising circles," Gasparino notes that some donors are losing faith that the Republican nominee can beat Obama. 19. Repugniks money spent on Senate seats is not seen as a waste
|
by them.
There are several very close races. In 2012, 23 Democratic Senate seats will be up for grabs, as opposed to 10 Republican seats. A pick-up of four seats could give the GOP a Senate majority. I think DUers need to pay attention and get with the senatorial campaigns. We don't need another obstructionist Congress. |

11. I want to believe it because now the rich donors
|
are starting to whine about how MEAN O is to them and he is treating them like ummmmmmmmmmm minorities. All the nasty shit from day one railed against O and y'know what, O have more Christian values in his pinky finger than all of the GOPpers combined. When he wins of course he will reach across the aisle with a olive branch and guess what, the GOPpers and their rich donors will shit on it.

Last edited Mon Oct 1, 2012, 09:28 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1) I bet some of those donors jumping ship were at that dinner at which he demeaned the supposed 47%. Then again since this is coming from Fox news this may be a way to lull us into a false since of security. If this is true that money may be spent on the close senate races also.
