Biden Blames Bush Administration for DeficitLast edited Sat Sep 29, 2012, 04:32 PM USA/ET - Edit history (3)
Source: By Arlette Saenz of ABC OTUS News
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Vice President Joe Biden placed the blame for the ballooning deficit on the Bush administration today, arguing that the previous administration saddled the country with the burden of trillions of dollars in debt. "Let's get serious here! How did we get this debt? Ladies and gentlemen, they put two wars on a credit card. Not paying a penny, not paying a penny, even though I introduced legislation to pay for that war. They voted against it," Biden said at the Wa-Ke Hatchee Park Recreation Center. "Two, they voted for a new entitlement program without paying one penny for it, and that was clear. Number 3, they added another trillion dollars in the tax cut for the very wealthy, so what's the result? These are the facts, folks, these are the facts. "The result was by the time the reins got turned back over to Barack and me, they had doubled the national debt in eight years, doubled the national debt in eight years," Biden added. Read more: http://news.yahoo.com/biden-blames-bush-administration-deficit-184436550--abc-news-politics.html This is a must read article. All praise to Vice President Joe Biden Joe Biden has ripped the bark off of the great lie created and spread by Fox News Corporation, its subsidiaries like the New York Post, Fox Cable News, the Wall Street Journal, the Weekly Standard and their right-wing radio propagandists and, of course, the astro-turf, Fox-created tea party movement that President Obama had somehow caused the deficit. Don't ever forget that it was none other than Vice-President Richard (Dick) Cheney who cavalierly crowed that "deficits don't matter" after he and George W. Bush had, as Senator Ted Kennedy summarized their ex-appropriation (un-budgeted and unpaid for) wars as "were cooked up in Texas." And while I am here, I want to publicly eat my own words of recommending Hillary replace Joe as VP. I clearly was wrong. Wrong. I wanted to energize the base, but Joe Biden is doing all of that and more as he pumps up all spectrum of the American voters from the working class and seniors to minorities and the young. Joe Biden, you are an inspiration and really know how to break it all down for the American People. Mr. Paul Ryan, you are soooo much in trouble when you debate this gifted and good man. Go Joe!!!!

5. Jan of 2001 we were on schedule to completely eliminate the debt by 2011.
|
Our current debt is a direct result of the policies from 8 years of Bush & friends.

Last edited Sat Sep 29, 2012, 05:06 PM USA/ET - Edit history (2) And left office with the country burning down around him and millions losing their jobs.
And left a 1.3 trillion dollar deficit. After coming into office with a huge surplus. And Republicans want to blame Obama for everything, even when they are blocking anything that could create jobs. Obstructing. http://www.RepublicansAreADisease.com These people are idiots. These people are traitors. Kick their asses Joe. Buncha lying traitors bent on sabotaging our nation, and having the media their allies own spend every second trying to convince retarded white people all their problems are President Obama's fault. God I hate Republicans. |

13. The Bush Family Evil Empire raided the US Treasury...
|
... they had planned on something similar if Poppy had won re-election in 1992, but Clinton got in the way of it. Hence all their rancor against Clinton. Their plans were delayed for eight years, hence they got right to work as soon as uncle Dick and Junior got into office. You know the rest of the story (as mentioned by VP Biden). |

That needs to be the message from now to the election.
The Republican economic policies didn't work for George W. Bush or George H.W. Bush and they won't work for Mitt Romney. |

17. If Obama had inherited from Clinton
|
he wouldn't have had to borrow a dime.
Bush and Greenspan blew the economy and the deficit with radical right free market economic policies. Tax cuts for the rich, no verification McMansions for the masses. Borrow, borrow, borrow. Then blame the Democrat Party. I'll give 'em this: GOP really does think Corporate PR can sell anything, even lies about the other party. |
