Michele Bachmann's Seat in Peril As House Race Tightens
Source: ABC
Less than a year ago, Rep. Michele Bachmann was traveling the country, making her case to be the Republican Party's presidential nominee. Today, six weeks out from that long-awaited election, she's caught in an unexpectedly tight race to keep her seat in Congress. Bachmann's challenger, Minnesota hotel magnate Jim Graves, 58, entered the fray in early April, quickly rallying state Democrats to his side and, perhaps more importantly, convincing Independence Party leaders and candidates to stay out of the mix, putting as much as 10 percent of the electorate up for grabs. In two of Bachmann's three races, the vote tally for the Independence candidate has exceeded her margin of victory. "This district has the most independents in the state," Graves told ABC News. "So we went to the Independence Party and asked, 'Can you guys help us out a little bit?' Well they said, 'We like you, Graves, we'll support you.'" 2. I recall
|
a money bomb to the candidate facing Bachman in one of the last two elections, can't remember if it was '08 or '10. Any thought of doing one again for Mr. Graves?

Then next year the president should rally the Blue Dogs with some harsh language. "Look Hate Radio is going to maul you anyway. Help get health care for your state and you can brag about it next cycle"

16. I had NO idea the race was this close.
|
I've been seeing a lot of ads for Graves, even though that isn't my district. It's not terribly far from me though, so maybe I'll start making some calls. This is exciting news! I'm sick of that looney representing Minnesota. We are so much better than her!!

19. I am so happy to hear this! She is the biggest racist there is and should have been arrested!
|
The accusations she made were terrible and should be challenged in a court of law. People like her carry their weight a little too far!
