Netanyahu: I'm Not Backing Romney
Source: abc news
Despite close personal ties to Mitt Romney and recent comments suggesting he was unhappy with the Obama administration's Iran policy, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly promised the Obama camp he has no plans to "interfere" with the campaign before Election Day. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Netanyahu sent his defense minister, Ehud Barak, to deliver a goodwill message to Chicago mayor and former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel on Thursday afternoon. An aide to Israeli leader said "no comment" when questioned about nature of the meeting and a spokeswoman for Emanuel would only confirm that Barak met with the Chicago mayor Thursday afternoon. This marks the second time in six days the Israeli leader has sought, either personally or through back channels -- Barak and Emanuel are friends -- to distance himself from the perception he is agitating for the president's defeat in November. Asked by Meet The Press moderator David Gregory on Sunday if he thought "Governor Mitt Romney as President Romney make Israel safer," Netanyahu demurred. "I'm not going to be drawn into the American election. And what's guiding my statements is not the American political calendar, but the Iranian nuclear calendar," the Israeli leader replied. "I'm talking to . I just talked to him the other day. We are in close consultation. We're trying to prevent that. It's really not a partisan issue. It's a policy issue, not a partisan issue." The war machine needs to STHU. The world doesn't need it anymore. We've got bigger concerns than killing each other so they can get richer than sin (or god, or however it goes).

any more than he already has. He will have to deal with President Obama for 4 more years and he should start remembering that the we will not be pushed around. He forgot who is fucking who in this relationship between our two countries and I hope he tries to remember it.
We might begin to see this same "enlightenment" from some of these rich guys, CEO's, Wall Street Banksters and the rest of the scum who have somewhat been holding back some of our recovery, whilst supporting Mittens in a big way. Maybe Rmoney is looking so bad right now and more importantly, looking like he will lose handily despite so many modern KKK members, more money, voter suppression, Diebold machines etc, that they might start acting like real citizens now and not wait till after the election. There many of them that will never do the right thing but there are some that just want to be on the winning side because its good for business. Looks good on paper, 45 days to go!!! NO COMPLACENCY!!! |

21. No, just meddling
|
It is quite evident that Benyamin Natanyahu is meddling in the U.S. elections, especially now that he is in a Romney ad. I am glad however, that some have come out in defense of President Obama since I believe they are disgusted that Natanyahu is trying to sway the election towards Mitt Romney.
Australian Finance Minister, Wayne Swan warns of Republican ‘crazies’ “Let’s be blunt and acknowledge the biggest threat to the world’s biggest economy are the cranks and crazies that have taken over a part of the Republican Party,” Swan said. He said “the extreme right Tea Party wing” of the Republican Party had held the national interest hostage during last year’s debate over the U.S. borrowing limit despite President Barack Obama’s “goodwill and strong efforts.” U.K. Prime Minister, David Cameron "It's a good thing for Mitt Romney the English do not have to vote in American elections, as they are "united" against him becoming the next president of the United States. Mitt Romney has a unique distinction of uniting England against him with his various remarks." Israel Deputy Foreign Minister, Danny Ayalon "Israel has no better friend than the United States and no better friend than President Obama in the international community." |
