Source: (Newsroom America)

Protesters claiming outrage over a amateur video critical of the Prophet Mohammed have besieged the U.S. Embassy in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, reports said Thursday.

Scores of students from nearby educational institutions clashed with Pakistani riot police, as they were blocked from approaching the embassy, Al Jazeera reported.

Protesters threw stones at police, who were said to have returned fire using tear gas. Television reports said several police were injured.

A number of protesters expressed anger at police for denying them access to the U.S. embassy, said Al Jazeera.

1. As of this date I feel that these protests have very

little to do with the anti-Muslin film but are fuel by pro-terrorist group just to keep up the rhetoric. During the W's years these types of violent riots happened very often and I fear if there is (God forbid) a GOP administration, these won't be the last of these riots and strong possibility for another full blown war.

2. I'm hoping it's a death rattle for fake outrage. There's enough to be angry about.

3. Tomorrow is Friday *and* a public holiday in Pakistan

Today's protest was probably a warmup.

BTW the holiday was created specifically to protest the film...
