Michele Bachmann's Poll Lead in Minnesota is Narrowing
Source: US News and World Report
Minnesota Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann may not run away with her congressional election after all. A new internal poll released by Democratic challenger Jim Graves reveals Bachmann's barely holding on in Minnesota's 6th Congressional District. According to the Greenberg Quinlan Rosner poll, Bachmann leads her opponent 48 to 46 percent, within the margin of error, a lead that has narrowed when compared to three months ago. 13. We'll still have Steve King

and Louis Gohmert, and Newt will regurgitate himself with he's trying to sell a book.
Sadly the vacuum will be filled by another crazy. |

2. There were polls that showed it close before...
|
... and she won comfortably each time.
Though I would love to see her out of the house I wont get my hopes up. |

3. She is such a liar. How could people vote for her?
|
Anybody that spreads gossip and rumors like she did deserves to loose office. She is supposed to set an example not put people down. She is an arrogant b----!

4. Oh, please, Minnesota - Do this for us
|
Make her disappear from our consciousness. Let her find a job where she will be held accountable for being a complete airhead. Send her friends in the tea party a message that hitching a ride in the clown car leads off a cliff.

5. well here's hoping but her district is located
|
in an affluent white flight area of the Twin Cities and one of the main highschools in that district is infamous for racial strife and sadly has one of highest rates for suicide among Gay teens in the country both of which should say something about her constituents

8. It's her gerrymandered district
|
Last edited Mon Sep 10, 2012, 10:54 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1) her district is located in white flight but mostly non-affluent suburbs (a few affluent ones--but when I was growing up, places like Brooklyn Park and Circle Pines were called "the beer suburbs.") with lots of fundamentalist churches, and areas north of there made up of conservative rural Catholic towns. She's anti-choice, so a lot of the conservative Catholics and fundies will vote for her simply for that reason. The inner suburbs are gaining more residents of color (especially Liberian refugees), and this infuriates the white flight types. Bachmann also has a huge following among mean-and-dumb males, who think she's "hot" and good at getting liberals mad. They're dumb enough that they don't realize that she's talking nonsense, and what minds they have are poisoned by talk radio.

Michele, pack up your highly closeted and sexless husband, your bizarre religulous nutbaggery, your terrible makeup, and your complete misunderstanding of reality, and welcome a real businessman, a real Minnesotan, and a real family to take your place here in one of the most amazing states in this country. Michele, you've been the inside joke our state never deserved. We are cool. You are a lunatic. Goodbye!
