DNC Video Highlights GOP Obstruction Of Obama

The final night of the Democratic convention highlighted Republicans' determination to thwart President Obama's agenda from early in his presidency. Footage immediately preceding a clip package of Obama's accomplishments featured House Republican leaders John Boehner and Eric Cantor nay-saying his agenda and Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell vowing that the party's top priority should be to deny the president a second term. They'd be crying and whining and saying it isn't fair. and we could point out, "What goes around, comes around" We need a law that says they have to do something productive for their pay! or fine them for unsportsman-like behavior! Can the Dems sersure the whole Repuke party if they have a majority? (and stipulate that this can be done now but never again) Hey, the SCOTUS did it- right? edit for spelling |

8. With majorities in Congress Dems could repair the filibuster rules, that would be a game changer.
