Obama hits Romney Obamacare slam, says 'I do care'
Source: AP-Excite
By DAVID ESPO and BEN FELLER CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Campaigning his way toward the Democratic National Convention, President Barack Obama slapped a "Romney doesn't care" label on his rival's health-care views Sunday and said Republicans want to repeal new protections for millions without offering a plan of their own. Vice President Joe Biden swiftly broadened the attack, accusing Republicans of seeking to undermine the decades-old federal program millions of seniors rely on for health care. "We are for Medicare. They are for voucher care," he said. The president and vice president campaigned separately across three battleground states as delegates descended on the Democrats' convention city for two days of partying before their first official meeting Tuesday in the Time Warner Cable Arena. An enormous sand sculpture made in Obama's likeness served as a reminder, as if any were needed, that the Democrats were in town. FULL story at link. 2. call it couponcare, so more people will "get it"
|
Think of the people who don't know what vouchers are. Every poor and middle class person knows what a coupon is.
Simplify the message, Dems! That's what the R's are good at and we need to beat them at their own game. |

There: http://barackobama.force.com/questions Check the box for them to contact you with a response before sending it. If you only write your idea exclusively on DU, they may never get it. I heard they are very busy these times around. |

8. I'm Not Sure Coupon Care Sends The Right Message As People Use Coupons To Get Money Off Something...
|
they are buying. A lot of people cut coupons and use coupons at the grocery store and other places to get a good deal. I'm worried that coupon care might send the wrong message.
I kind of like voucher care - but I agree that many people might not know the term 'voucher'. Perhaps it should just be said "Rmoney Doesn't Care" and "Obamacares". Kind of a tough call here. |
