Just think, if everyone on this one website who truly disagreed with each other could spank each other, imagine that. Now, imagine being a young kid, not knowing much yet, just learning how to talk, and saying something that respectfully (because you love your parents) if clumsily disagrees with a parent who listens to Jeb Bush.
My guess is you learn to keep your mouth shut. So, after a few years of practicing keeping your mouth shut, then you go to school, and you're not allowed to keep your mouth shut, but since you don't communicate with your parents as a survival or anti-spanking strategy, the words come out wrong because you haven't been encouraged to communicate at home, whoops, more punishment
then you go to a work environment where education is put on a pedestal.
