1. that's fine

Isaac still screwed up their plans and they will not get as much press with the hurricane news. If they had had to cancel the whole thing, they would have had their convention after ours. I think having it last is the best position, so I am glad the Dems will keep that.

Well done so far Isaac, now you may fizzle.

I just hope the hurricane weakens and weakens now.

7. Unfortunately, it looks like Issac has decided to celebrate Katrina's 7th anniversary

with a direct hit to New Orleans...

13. I'm hoping it scoots enough in either direction for New Orleans not to get slammed.

Yeah, I know it's not likely, but still...

3. With the RNC there

I'm sure there will still be a need for disaster relief.

4. I wonder if God even likes Republicans. He usually

seems to find a way to disrupt them through the years. If God was capable of hate...he'd
hate them and their selfish unchristian ways.

9. Excuse me?

They're still human...

These 'hookers' are still individuals who have many skeletons in their closets who have unfortunately turned their lives to prostitution as a means of self-support.

Calling these women, and some times; very young girls, 'hookers' is a mysoginst catch phrase.

Please reconsider removing your post...

6. Look at it this way

The rain may have abated, but a large percentage of the drips in the Western hemisphere are still there.

11. RNC opened

Priebus thanked all of the First Responders.

No mention of GOP cuts to First Responders or attacks on their unions... or Romney's cuts to First Responders as Governor.

12. I can hear the R's grumbling how the National Weather Service should forecast better

Oh, wait.... The National Weather Service is part of that socialistic government that they want to cut apart.
