I know in West Virginia, they have a coal company that will take down an entire eco system - mountain tops, creeks, river and lake, and damage that environment in a way will take the earth centuries to repair, if ever. And how many jobs in total does that company provide? Three hundred -- Total jobs. Three hundred jobs in exchange for their right to wipe out an eco system. And of great significance is this: those jobs will be gone in a decade whether the eco system is saved or destroyed. (Which they conveniently forget to mention.) |
