Mitt Romney Better Move to Right, Says Emboldened Tea Party
Source: ABC
The stunning Texas victory of Ted Cruz, a young Tea Party-backed Republican over an establishment candidate vying for a Senate seat, has already so emboldened the insurgent conservative movement that activists are warning Mitt Romney he had better get on board. "These guys " are going to force Romney to the right," said Andrea Shell, a spokeswoman for Tea Party group Freedom Works. "That is our entire mission." Cruz won the Texas Republican primary Tuesday night. In Texas, winning the Republican nomination is a virtual lock on a Senate election. His victory is the latest in a string of Tea Party candidates to tap into anti-establishment frustration within the Republican Party and overcome the steep odds and deep pockets of more mainstream candidates. The article says, "His victory is the latest in a string of Tea Party candidates to tap into anti-establishment frustration within the Republican Party and overcome the steep odds and deep pockets of more mainstream candidates"
But, wasn't there a story on Rachel Maddow last night about how this guy got tons of money from outside of Texas? As long as d-bags like the Kochs and Dick Armey are involved, the nuttier the candidate, the better the funding. |

he's moved with Tea Party and the Nuge". He had a hand in the redistricting or more acurately, gerrymandering that had Rove and that ilk palling with Jack Abramoff close pal to W, Perry, Tom DeLay, Phil Graham, Newt, Ron Paul (all indictable and convictable greedy Rightwing ..... don't get me started)......

Sure it will mean the base will love you... but maybe I shouldn't mention the fact that independent voters will be turned off by these far right policies.
And as for the Tea Party - they claim that they are Anti-Establishment. From the past record, it looks like that these antiestablishmentists come very much into the establishment when they are elected - complaining that their health care benefits don't kick in just when they ran on an anti-healthcare platform. I'm sure there are more examples but I haven't the time to waste on this. |

citing the toxicity and acceptance of radicals into their mainstream it is clear that the base of the teabag movement is nothing but hatred and malice. The jackasses who actually believed anything else are embarrassed. They are finding themselves alone at the end of the party with a pack of assholes and cant undersatnd what to do about it. They will look for a back door exit, deny they were ever at that party and act like the egg all over their face is not there either. As with the former members of many fringe radical hate groups who hide their association when the light of truth becomes too bright.
Meanwhile, the movements hateful leaders will scream even louder desperate for attention when no one cares anymore. They will cling to the remnants of the hate song they created as they are shunned into the dustbin of history. They will not quit, they will act out. They will become dangerous, they will commit crimes, and they will always be full of hate. I know that mittens will cater to them. I know this because he is one of them. |
