Associated Press Mexican leftist threatens to reveal names of people who got money in vote-buying scheme

MEXICO CITY — Mexico’s leftist presidential candidate says he has a list of names of 4,891 people who allegedly received money in a vote-buying scheme he claims influenced the July 1 presidential election.
Leftist Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador says he won’t release the names for now, but will do so “if necessary.”
Lopez Obrador says the people on the list got pre-paid debit cards from the old ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party, or PRI.
He said Wednesday that about 260,000 cards were distributed nationwide, worth a total of about $74 million.
