Sean FitzPatrick is third ex-Anglo Irish Bank executive to be arrested in 24 hours

The former head of Anglo Irish Bank, Sean FitzPatrick, has been arrested by Irish police in connection with alleged financial irregularities at the bank.

Mr FitzPatrick is expected to appear in court in Dublin later on Tuesday.

He will be the third former senior executive from Anglo Irish Bank to appear in court as a result of the investigation within the past 24 hours.

Anglo was nationalised at a cost of about 30bn euros (23.4bn) to Irish taxpayers.

1. To bad our government here in the US hasnt done something simular to

the bankers involved in the subprime lending loans not to mention the ones involved in actually forging documents.

3. Just wait because Europe is so ticked off

they will hunt them down ...and then EXPECT America too

then prosecutions will take place

its sad to see America as the protector of the Derivitive banksters

the whole plan was to destroy the Euro and have one global currency but I don't think
the countries are that stupid to hand over their soverignty

Let's hope Eric "I Can't Find Any Evidence Of Criminal Activity" Holder is taking notes. He needs a refresher course on protecting and defending our Constitution.
